She’s got direction, ambition, and a mother who’s intent on keeping her that way. But she’s barely moved into her freshman dorm when she runs into Hardin. With his tousled brown hair, cocky British accent, and tattoos, Hardin is cute and different from what she’s used to. But he’s also rude - to the point of cruelty, even. For all his attitude, Tessa should hate Hardin.

This book had me throwing my hands up. Tess is the typical little girl lost and Harden the been there done that tough guy. The back and forth starts straight away and doesn't stop for 99 chapters! I would have given up sooner but the author does do a great job keeping you hooked just enough to stay with the book. The ending was interesting but still not truly worth the roller coaster ride. Especially since all of this drama happens in 2 months of them meeting.

First let me say the author did a great job of working the separate stories that will slowly roll into one. However a bit too slowly. By the time I started to care for a character or couple something would go very wrong so the whole plot became too much and would just drag on till the end. Camilla Rockley did a wonderful job with the narration.

This is certainly the type of stories I love but as much as I tried, I just couldn't enjoy it. The overall story was captivating enough for me to keep listening to see how it would all end but it was almost painful. By what would be the second book I found one of the main characters, Danielle, truly annoying. Although the author warns the reader of her "Girliness" Danielle was more whinny then girly. I was also able to zone out and miss a good amount of the story and although I wanted to be updated on what was happening, it was not enough for me to rewind. I just didn't find that "It" factor to this series that others did. At least the narrator was pretty good.

The first few chapters were pretty entertaining but after a while some of the stories dragged on. Then towards the end it seems as if stories were repeated. I often thought that I had gone back to a previous chapter knowing I had already hear a tale before only to see that in fact they had repeated a story. So if you're a true SNL you'd probably enjoy it but it seemed to drag on in my opinion.

Even after being disappointed with book 2, I still had to give book 3 a try to find out the end. Sadly I was even more disappointed with this one. I was looking forward to a big wrap up. What I found was a story that dragged on with no real purpose. Chapter after chapter of weird circus towns and desserts with weird events taking place but nothing truly exciting. So after enduring slow uneventful story lines it ends with no real climax. Just "My boring trek through hell is complete and now I'll just lay low with my hot vampire lover who truly is in love with me even though vampires shouldn't be capable of love. But I'm not even going to look into that because I'm laying low." It ends like the author just lost interest and said "I'm bored so end it here". Just was expecting better.
