Absolutely fantastic continuation of an action packed series that just never seems to slow down. These books just keep upping the bar with new facets of the story and new ways all telling the tale. Can't wait for part 4 to come to audiobook.

Legion Dark Ops calls upon Chhun, Wraith, and the survivors of Victory Company to form an elite Kill Team of legionnaires in the aftermath of the Battle of Kublar. Their mission is clear: find and eliminate those responsible for the Kublar disaster. Standing between them and their objective are a maze of corrupt Republic officials, a spy on the verge of losing himself in deep cover, and the Zhee - a murderous species that will stop at nothing. But the biggest threat of all might be the truth they seek to uncover - a truth that could ignite a revolution. And engulf the galaxy in flames.

I can't tell you how pleased I have been with these books. Incredibly engaging and interesting at every turn. I look forward to each time I have a few minutes to listen. I can't wait for the rest of the series to be released. I've been listening to audiobooks for years and these are some I've the best I've ever consumed.

Another amazing chapter in The Stormlight Archive from what is probably the world's premier fantasy author. This excellent book is only marred by the fact that they insist on using two separate readers who don't bother to collaborate on how to pronounce words or names of characters or places. Either reader would have given an excellent performance, or perhaps both if they could take the time to compare notes, but every time they work together it brings down the quality of the overall product.

In that first volume, we were introduced to the remarkable world of Roshar, a world both alien and magical, where gigantic hurricane-like storms scour the surface every few days and life has adapted accordingly. Roshar is shared by humans and the enigmatic, humanoid Parshendi, with whom they are at war.

Roshar is a world of stone and storms. Uncanny tempests of incredible power sweep across the rocky terrain so frequently that they have shaped ecology and civilization alike. Animals hide in shells, trees pull in branches, and grass retracts into the soilless ground. Cities are built only where the topography offers shelter. It has been centuries since the fall of the ten consecrated orders known as the Knights Radiant, but their Shardblades and Shardplate remain: mystical swords and suits of armor.
