This is one great story of a girl with strong, determined, and unrelenting will to survive. I really enjoyed listening to it though in the middle it dragged a little for me. Delia Owens writes so that you feel like you can taste the grits, feel the pangs of hunger and sadness and can feel the sea air on you skin. Her imagery is effortless!

I wasn't sure about this book going in, didn't know what to expect but boy am I glad I did. Bryn Greenwood is an absolutely brilliant storyteller. All the angles of this plot are woven together so elegantly, you wont want to put this down.

I love Joe!! I didn't want to, but damn that's how good Caroline Kepnes writes! I listened in pretty much one day! I couldnt get enough and went straight on to Hidden Bodies (book 2). Santino is an amazing narrator for this story also!! A must read!

Excellent- the pace of the story unfolding, the plot, the humour, the treatment of serious issues, the character development, the narration!!! One of the best, if not the best book I’ve read in a while!

Great story let down by Guy Locke’s portrayal of Beckett

Really liked the story. One or two minor things seemed a little forced but overall the story was good. Liked seeing Z and Beckett’s growth both as individuals and in their relationship despite all the obstacles.

Unfortunately the male narration let it down for me. When you meet Beckett first time through Zelda’s POV with the female narrator he has a New York accent but when it’s narrated from his POV the accent was nowhere to be heard. It really threw me throughout the book as the consistency wasn’t there from the narrators.

Wow!!!! Hook, line and sinker!!

Everything, this has everything!! Drama, plot, great characters and holy hell the sex!! I was completely captivated by the world of Greer, Ash and Embery! Narration by Stephanie Rose was amazing, perfectly giving life to Greer and the others! Diving into American Prince next!! Sierra Simone will be a 1-click from now on!

This was the first of Leslie North's books I've done. I really liked the building of the relationship between Marcus and Clare and the chemistry that's created between them. I loved the different slant of the characters from the "norm" and appreciated each of these and the book all the more for it.

As for the narration, Rebecca Roberts was brilliant- especially the different voices she uses for each character!

I'll be continuing Leslie North's Solomon Series and on the look out for further books by her as well as on the look out for more is Rebecca Roberts performance narrations.

I received a copy of this Audible from the author/narrator/publisher in exchange for an honest opinion.

Hot sex and a good plot line!

Good storyline and pace with hot hot scenes. Narration was very good. Will definitely look for book 2 after that sudden cliffhanger.

Enjoyed the book, it's well written and the characters flashbacks endear them more to you and Engyns narration of it was great. I just felt that the story changed too much from its basis towards the end.
