Avery Bloom, who's bookish, intense, and afraid of many things, particularly deep water, lives in New York City. Bett Devlin, who's fearless, outgoing, and loves all animals as well as the ocean, lives in California. What they have in common is that they are both 12 years old and are both being raised by single, gay dads. When their dads fall in love, Bett and Avery are sent, against their will, to the same sleepaway camp. Their dads hope they will find common ground and become friends - and possibly, one day, even sisters.

The Audible was so good. I really enjoyed everything about this book. Even the repetitive Re re re re.
Enjoyed it so much I bought the book and CD audio for my 13year old grand daughter. I hope she likes it as much as I do.
Don't miss out on this one.

Since his wife died, Ralph Roberts has been having trouble sleeping. Each night he wakes up a bit earlier until he's barely sleeping at all. During his late-night walks, he observes some strange things going on in Derry, Maine. He sees colored ribbons streaming from people's heads, two strange little men wandering around town after dark, and more. He begins to suspect that these visions are something more than hallucinations brought on by lack of sleep.

I read this book years ago and loved it. I purchased the e-book and audio book to listen to again. The audio book was a total waste of money. The randomly placed noise ruins it and over rides the words. I cannot listen to it at all. Music should never be added to audio books in my opinion. And if music is added we should be made aware BEFORE we purchase. I never would've spent my money on this had I known.
I will read the book without the help of the audio.
I am very hesitant about buying audio books again.
