When world-class biblical scholar Bart Ehrman first began to study the texts of the Bible in their original languages he was startled to discover the multitude of mistakes and intentional alterations that had been made by earlier translators. In Misquoting Jesus, Ehrman tells the story behind the mistakes and changes that ancient scribes made to the New Testament and shows the great impact they had upon the Bible we use today.

I was brought up in a Conservative Evangelical Christian home. The churches we went to were very conservative and taught the Bible was the inerrant word of God. From a very early age, I thought it was too full of errors and discrepancies to be the case. Asking questions about this was never encouraged. After reading this book, I now know I wasn't wrong.
If you are at all curious about the accuracy of the New Testament, this book is the place to start.

I have loved most of David Weber's books and I have every one set in Honor Harrington's world. I have the first few of the Safe Hold series. I quit reading those because they just got to slow.
This book could have been half as big because over half of the book was just introducing the players and didn't really add to the book.
Kevin Collins did a masterful job of narration, just as good as Allison Johnson, and I see her as the voice of Honor Herrington.
Overall the book was good and I'll be buying the next in the series, if there is a next in the series.
