In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women - mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends - view one another. A deeply moving novel filled with poignancy, humor, and hope, The Help is a timeless and universal story about the lines we abide by, and the ones we don't.

I typically like suspense and science fiction so this was a big change. I downloaded this at a friends recommendation and loved it. I highly recommend it to anyone just looking for a good book. The Help is told by several characters and the narrators were brilliant

Uncharacteristiclly boring for a Dean Koontz book

We are big Dean Koontz fans. This book was not the typical awesome Dean Koontz thriller. It was too slow and took forever to get interesting. I never fall asleep listening to books on tape and I fell asleep twice during this one. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this book.
