It all started in a barn, rolling around in the hay with a hot brunette. When I hooked-up at my best friend's wedding with the bride's best friend, I had hay in places it should never be. And how my bowtie ended up around my dick was an entirely different story. I'll give you a minute to consider the possibilities. That first romp set the tone, and with each of our sexual encounters that followed they became more risque. The fact that all my fantastic orgasms were coming at the hand of one woman blew me away.

Laughter is what this story caused. Kyle and Vanessa and their antics caused me to laugh outright. And listening to them come to life with Audible made it even more fun.

It wasn’t all fun and games. They each had somethings to work through and hurt each other, but watching them fall was amusing and touching.

So there I was, on a stage with two other men, being asked ridiculous questions by a woman I couldn't see, but whose voice made my pants tighten - and not around my ankles. Before I knew what was happening, I'd signed up for six weeks in paradise, isolated on an island for 42 days with a complete stranger. And when I finally laid eyes on the sexy brunette who belonged to that voice, a part of me thought this wouldn't be so bad.

Finding Mr Wrong had me laughing so many times. Her quirks. His candidness. Their time on stage. 🤣🤣🤣.

He has no desire to be Mr Right to Brae or any other woman. She’s done with relationships and is seeking Mr Wrong. Their story is filled with attitude, innuendo (and often blatant sexual conversation), mishaps and denied chemistry 🔥🔥🔥🔥.

Be prepared for their stressors to triggers laughs and their banter to make you laugh harder. Getting to know each other was never so fraught with tension and heat!

Fun! Fun! Fun! And a great supporting cast of characters!

One of the comedy world's fastest-rising stars tells his wild coming of age story during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa and the tumultuous days of freedom that followed. Noah provides something deeper than traditional memoirists: powerfully funny observations about how farcical political and social systems play out in our lives.

This book was a recommendation for employees by our employer. It’s not a genre I generally read, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I bought the book and audio version and heating Trevor Noah narrate his story added so much more for me.

It was eye-opening to say the least. I truly had no idea the how life in South Africa was. The classification of black people, colored people and white people and how segregated they were from each other. The homes they lived in. The life they lived growing up and not knowing they could aspire to anything else. That it literally was a crime to have a relationship between black and white people, much less have a child together. His story of being a child in the times of apartheid left me stunned and sad. The wrongness of it all.

There were humorous parts that had me laughing aloud. But there were many more that had my jaw dropping and even gasping at times.

Trevor Noah’s mother is a beautiful free spirit with a faith that runs deep. Trevor, himself, was much like his mother. And his love for his mother unfailing. The ending could not have been a more perfect conclusion to his book.

I strongly recommend this book to everyone!

Kane and Temperance are fantastic characters!!

I liked this series even better that Mount and Keira’s story!!!

Sacrifice.

Sacrifice for Kane is giving up everything to protect his mom as a young man. For wanting to give it up all over again for the woman he loves.

Sacrifice for Temperance is giving up a part of her soul, her heart, for success. She’s passionate about her metal sculptures, family and a man who sees to the very depths of her soul.

Is the sacrifice to great? To lose what they have before they’ve declared their love? Before she can find that passion she lost and put it into her art. Before he can claim her as his future.

This story has so many twists and turns. Desolation and loss. Threats from every direction. Lies from everyone you hold dear. Friendships. Hope. Future. Love and happiness. It’s a journey. Forward and back. And ultimately, the past shaping the most wondrous, unexpected future.

Rogue Royalty far exceeded my expectations!!

And that ending! CLIFFHANGER! I waited to read Savage Prince and Iron Princess as long as I could. Now I absolutely need Rogue Royalty!

I do what I want and who I want. I don't follow anyone's rules-even my own. I knew I shouldn't touch her, but it didn't stop me. Didn't stop me the second time either. Only made me want a third. My lifestyle suits the savage I am, and she doesn't. But Temperance Ransom is my newest addiction, and I'm nowhere near ready to quit her yet. I'll have her my way, even if it means dragging her into the darkness. Hopefully it doesn't kill us both.

I'll say this about Christian - he made one hell of a first impression. When I first saw the strapping man, he was doing handstands naked on a dock along the canal. His crown jewels were far more entertaining than anything else I'd seen on the boat tour, so I did what any curious woman would do - I took his photo.

Christian is the charmer. He’s the funny man in the Griffin and Christian friendship. He’s free to do as he pleases, Including handstands, sansclothes, on the dock of his home in Copenhagen.

Elise is serious and focused on work. She’s got no time for romance. She enjoys her travel business as she can interesting places and do fun things. Her favorite just might be the boat tour along the canal in Copenhagen. It was a moment she’ll not forget. She has the photos to prove it. Ahhhh, the sweet memories.

One year later, with her friend Joy and her boyfriend, Griffin, she meets the charming Christian, up close and personal. It’s fate he says. She’s charmed but no so easy to succumb. She’s going to enjoy him, on her own terms.

Until “drunk Eric”. I looooooove “drunk Eric”!!! Eric finds himself on a predicament that leads to the potential downfall of everything Christian and Eric’s grandfather worked his whole life for. Eric’s drunken ramblings lead to a proposal, or rather contract. There is a proposal but it involves a pillow. 🤣🤣

So many walls to tear down. Christian finds himself falling. She’s made rules and he has no choice but to abide by them. She won’t allow herself to fall. Skyscrapers can’t be high enough barriers. But Christian’s charm and manner seem to be poking holes in everything she believed. But the rules will protect her.

Eric will not let anyone shoulder the responsibilities he has claimed. He’s about to set things right. Unknowingly destroying everything. Charming Christian becomes contemplative. Elise behind the Walls starts seeing cracks and gummy bears?

Family wins. It’s all about family. Love. And Fate.

Blown. Away. This book me on a foray into the royal family. The conforming older brother, the fun middle brother who is a military man, and the seemingly spoiled princess.

We don’t see much of John but he’s the heir and does all the right things.

Eddie is fun and spirited but aware of his responsibility as the “spare” to the throne.

Adeline is the youngest and “spare to the spare”. She’s resentful of being a royal. She’s lost herself in the expectations of her birthright. She’s a princess first and a woman second. She’s suffocating and rebelling.

And then she meets him. He both thrills and excites her. He’s forbidden (on many levels!!). But he sees her and she can be herself with him, something she’s not sure she’s ever been. Secrecy and excitement. At the same time fear of discovery. And the ever present weight of expectations are enough to crush them.

The story builds and becomes more intense. It comes to a crescendo and then everything you thought you knew (or surmised) is blown to bits. Trying to make sense of it does no good. Read it again. Let it settle. Then count the days until August 7th, because there’s more! More smoke and mirrors.

Blown. Away. Absolutely magnificent!

Part way through I abandoned the audio as it seemed to move so slowly and I wanted to read faster.

This story had some difficult topics, but some amazing outlooks.

Crystal is a woman who is doing what she has to in order to survive. It’s not who she is but it’s all she believes she can be. She’s wounded to her very soul.

Gabriel has had a tortured youth. Not what you would anticipate. But his calm, his outlook, his patience, seem so at odds with what he’s endured.

He’s her angel. She’s who he wants. The path to finding herself is traumatic and painful. The his path to love and intimacy is anxiety-provoking...until her.

His words of wisdom and quiet acceptance are something to marvel at. I honestly am amazed at his inner peace, and although he has his fears, with her at his side, he can conquer them. Her healing is much more painful and difficult.

Healing is rewarding. Healing is peaceful.

I enjoyed the audible version of their story. It brought them to life.

It’s been a long time since I’ve read a Danielle Steele novel. I was hooked on DS books for much of my adult life and then I did I erred other authors. Well I returned home with Undercover, the audio version.

I really enjoyed how she tells a story, the flow between past and present and from character to character. Her books tell a life story, not simply a love story. And Marshall and Ariana are wonderful characters.

Their lives are not the lives of the typical person. Marshall is DEA and has been undercover. He then goes Secret Service. In both instances, he’s left completely traumatized and alone. Forced to retire, he’s left searching and alone. And finds himself in Paris with his adopted pet, Stanley.

Ariana is the daughter of the US Ambassador to Argentina. She’s already lost her mother so it’s just her and her dad. She’s the perfect hostess for all his events, until she is kidnapped. She’s mistreated and manipulated for months until she is rescued. She rapidly finds herself orphaned; completely alone. She embarks on a journey to hide and ultimately, heal. She also finds herself in Paris.

Their first encounter will change their lives. Danger is not a new concept to either of them and she seems to be unaware of how much danger she is in. He is very aware, ever the agent. What happens next changes them both forever. Neither could anticipate just how much.

The narrator was good and easy to listen to. I enjoyed my return to DS novels.
