After spending the last 10 years in prison, Zak, former DAMC president, has a few priorities: to reconnect with his “brothers”, to get drunk, and to get laid. Not necessarily in that order. When he spots a stunning woman in the clubhouse and mistakes her for one of the club’s strippers, those priorities get a bit skewed.

Zac and Sophie start off the series with a bang. Or should I say multiple bangs :)
Zac mistakes Sophie for one of the strippers at his welcome home from prison party. Oh yeah, he just spent 10 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit and now he is free.
Sophie may begin with putting up a fight (and lets say its not a really good one) when Zac decides she is his for the night.
Their story is actually a lot sweeter than I anticipated but I think it just made the attraction to Zac and his brothers a bit more endearing. Don't get me wrong they are a biker club and that speaks for itself. But they are still men, just men who more or less get what they want.
It's a great building block into what we can expect with more of DAMC and it's members and adds a bit of anticipation to what seems to be a rivalry between them and some old foes.

In this last book, Devlin is the darkest of the brothers yet the author has us falling hard for him.
Who would have thought that someone so dark and mean would be the one that could win your heart.
Rosie thought the very same thing after meeting him and experiencing his mood swings. Yet, that is just what she did.
In Rosie, Devlin has met his equal. She doesn't back down from him not even while learning his secrets. Secrets that Devlin himself can't believe he is sharing with the one woman he thinks he shouldn't trust.

There is a gothic feel about this book. I don't know if it's the ghosts, the haunted houses, or just the feel of New Orleans but it's what adds that added layer to the brothers stories and makes it work effortlessly.

This is one of those books I like to throw in between heated stories I normally read,
Well, I have to be honest that I was lucky enough to snag a free audio copy of this book and OMG, it was so endearing and funny. The author writes of a paranormal world that blends with the human world and this time the humans know. Well, they know some things exist.
Trixie is a strong, funny character I could see being friends with. Her life is not easy but it definitely is entertaining. While on her job she accidentally meets Viktor Petrov a vampire being held n the local dragons castle. Yeah, I'm not going to explain that because that would be giving to much away and who wants to know everything before picking up the book. It ruins the fun.

Circumstances occur where Viktor and Trixie's lives cross over and with everything that happens, Trixie stands strong. This is a great change up for me and I have to say I was extremely entertained by the story and the characters. So much so that I think I'm going to have to continue this series. Trixie's sister story is next and you won't believe who she has to deal with. But before I do that I have to go back to the first book to find out their stories too!
So, if you're looking for something fun, entertaining and easy on the mind and heart, this series could just be it.

Call me bias but I LOVE all books by Lauren Blakely!

This was so sweet (in more than the chocolatey) way ) and sexy and soul gripping.
My God Leo but Leo is amazing. He fell in love with Lulu the day he met her or close to that day. But she also met his best friend then and he asked her out before Leo did and that was the end of that. He stayed close with both of them being loyal putting his own heart aside and that won my admiration.

Years later after Lulu's divorce and the death of her husband, they enter each others life's unintentionally and the spark never left Leo, something Lulu had no idea about. While working together these two become close and it just had me swooning. Let's face it the truth of his feelings have to be revealed. Now will it make or break them? Even though I'm making this sound all sad it's way more than meets the eye. Lauren Blakely can not have any book without a fair amount of humor that she mixes in. Never a disappointment, just the anticipation for the next book and the next book and so on and so on and so on :)

What's there to say other than she did it again!
Another book to make me laugh, swoon and melt into a HUGE puddle of goo!

We can all relate to so moment in our lives where we just don't want to face it alone and with April her family reunion is it. When her friend has to back out at the last minute to play her boyfriend to keep her family at bay, she does the next best thing and hires a replacement.

Theo is taking on jobs as a hire out boyfriend to earn extra money to help out his brother. So, when April calls for a week long gig, the timing is perfect and the money is a plus. But once he sets eyes on her he knows he's in big trouble. Don't fret he isn't the only head over heels attracted. April believes she can keep her cool and play her part well without letting her hormones take the lead.

The story is awesome. The characters outstanding. And Lauren Blakely....well she's just a genius.
My love of her writing and addiction to reading her books and trying to add everyone to my collection has even caught the eye of my husband who in his infinite comical self placed a post on his facebook page with his favorite books....but the funny part is he placed a few of Lauren's book saying......Wait! How did those get on here, they're not mine, I swear they belong to my wife. It is a lot funnier they way he put it. But hey! Free publicity right?

Seriously, I have read a ton of her books and you just can't go wrong. (less)

The first time I laid eyes on Lydia Decker, I couldn’t speak. Or breathe. Or string two coherent thoughts together. And I don’t mean any of that figuratively. No, when I first laid eyes on Lydia Decker - my physical therapist - I was lying flat on my back in the ICU, high as a kite on painkillers, breathing on a ventilator, my bones as broken and splintered as my spirit. She said she’d been assigned to fix me. But what I didn’t know...what I couldn’t possibly know...was that Lydia Decker needed fixing far more than I ever did.

The Club series by Lauren won me over at first read. Yeah.... I really like Christian Grey but Jonas topped that for me. (swooning here)

Every book has me thinking it just can't get any better and then she goes and gives us Colby. How can one man be so darn perfect. Even laying in a hospital ICU unit he manages to melt my heart along with Lydia's (his physical therapist). Their story is EPIC! I have no idea how she will ever come close to this kind of perfection again. That once again come from a woman who is in love with Jonas and his crazy money sex :)

Anyway.....this is one author you most definitely don't want to pass up or miss.

Not once have I been disappointed while reading one of Lauren Blakely's books.

This one was awesome...yeah...just awesome. What is not to like about a truth telling, sexy billionaire who's business is selling sex toys? A man who has no interest in relationships, just enjoying a hot night with women who want pleasure and then be on their way. That is until he meets Michelle. She is like Jack in so many ways yet once the fun starts...well let's just say neither can get enough of the other.

The story is fast moving, hot and the honesty makes it all the more appealing. There are ups and downs of course but the ride is mind blowing. This is the reason I'm always looking for something new and exciting from L. Blakely. Love it! This is everything put into one great read

I am totally in love with Gabriel and Penny.
Such passion, loss and then more passion.
Okay so I'm very easily swooned by such a passionate story. They found each other worlds apart and feel in love over 3 days and nights. They were to meet again at a fountain on a specific day to reunite. Penny waits and is sadly disappointed when Gabriel never shows.

Ten years later Penny is on a deadline for a caterer for her fundraiser and has run out of options pretty quickly. By chance a restaurant by the name of Gabriel is on her list to see. Ten long, lonely years of trying to put this man out of her mind and heart is now all void when it's him.
Penny isn't the only one who remembers that short and hot romance. But can it be his long lost Penelope? OMG....this was so romantic and warming. I loved every moment of reading and if I wasn't already a fan of Lauren Blakely's this short novella would have me quickly reaching for another book to see if this is a one hit wonder or if she tends to hit them out of the park.
Just so you know....she hits them ALL out of the park

I won a audible copy of Torment (Savages and Saints) and could not be more thrilled to share my review with you.

From the blurb you get the idea that Quinn has been in love with her brothers best friend Zee forever.
When her chance to kiss him and show him her attraction, he kisses her back then pushes her away just to disappear.
Six years later, Zee makes a reappearance in his home town with a heavy heart and a still lingering attraction to Quinn.
We follow what slowly becomes more than a friendship but Zee has a lot of demons to work through and the question is will Quinn be the one to help him or will she realize there is just so much one heart can take.

Their story is beautiful even when Zee's makes my heart ache for the dark place his soul is in. To carry a burden for so long, make it through hell and still come out a good man shows the strength within him. It just takes the right circumstance to show him the way to the light.

I loved the story and YES....I want more. The author found her way onto my must read list, if all she writes is as well written as this book I'm in for a very long ride. Friends to lovers, brothers best friend, this book has a lot to offer.

Also, since this was an audible book I need to share that the narration was amazing. Both Gunnar Qualen and Jenna St. Claire brought the characters to life.

I'll say this about Christian - he made one hell of a first impression. When I first saw the strapping man, he was doing handstands naked on a dock along the canal. His crown jewels were far more entertaining than anything else I'd seen on the boat tour, so I did what any curious woman would do - I took his photo.

The introduction of Christian and Elise put a HUGE smile on my face. OMG....I bet there are people out there who as off the wall as Christian. And Elise? Would I be as daring in my admiration as Elise was?
Both characters are lovable from the start and the finish was so endearing. But of course everything in between made my heart soar and swoon.
