I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed listening to this book. Due to the propensity of the subject to save all correspondence, paperwork of any and every kind and keep a journal, the story was filled with genuinely accurate details, both personal and historical. Given the volume of materials, the author did a masterful job of picking out the ones she used and did a beautiful job of weaving it all together. This I one of the most pleasurable "reads" I've ever experienced. The narrator was excellent and added greatly to that experience.

So awful I couldn't make it past maybe 20 minutes. I'd never read anything by him before and when Audible was having a buy one get one this one sounded like fun so I decided to try it. I know he's successful and I'm glad for him, but he most definitely isn't my cup of tea. I wonder if they'll let me get another to take it's place.

Fascinating behind the scenes look at American political campaigns, working at the White House and most importantly, working for a U.S. president. And there are such heart-warming stories about Barack Obama who, it turns out, happens to be one of the nicest, kindest, thoughtful and decent human beings on the planet. I loved every second of it and am going to miss listening to it.
