I presume this was written on the condensed version. He sounds like a middle school teacher reading a student's book report.

This missed the essence of the character Jack Reacher, ATTITUDE. Jack doesn't guess, he's Certain.

The missing innuendo and strong arm tactics are central to the character. They define the character.

A classic novel by John D. MacDonald with an exclusive introduction written and read by Dean Koontz. But when Andy tries to quit, his boss offers him a promotion and a raise - and then promptly kills himself with a harpoon gun. At least, that's what it looks like, until the police rule it homicide - with the murder weapon belonging to Andy.

Well written, very comprehensive. A great read after having seen the movie years ago. it is detailed, many names. My only issue was timing, the story is written in chapters about the players and jumped back and forth through time.
