I enjoyed this entire series but I felt the story is incomplete. Disappointed in the ending.

I really like Brandon Sanderson's books, but this one had me almost stopping before I got very far into the book. The beginning was difficult to follow and very confusing, but hang in there and keep going. Of course I listen while I'm driving and sometimes traffic distracts me. I found this book to be a very engaging.

I enjoyed the storyline, but the author engages the lead characters in too much explicit sex scenes. I had to fast forward past them which took away from my enjoyment.

Where does State of Nature rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I listened to books 1 + 2, they kept me listening. When book 3 came around I hoped for a great ending. What a disappointment! the book was great until the end...bam...ugh!

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I didn't expect a fairy tale ending, but this one left me flat.

What did you love best about Red Sparrow?

I enjoyed the interaction between the CIA operator and his Russian Ballerina. To say more would reveal too much.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I didn't listen in one sitting, but it was easy to pick back up.

Any additional comments?

Hoping he has a sequel.

More sex than I needed in a book.

Would you try another book from E. L. James and/or Becca Battoe?

Not sure. The story held my interest, but I didn't need the porno sex scenes. One or two might have been okay, but this book had way too many.

Any additional comments?

Cinderella with a modern twist. If you like to listen to sex scenes, this is your book. If not, don't bother. It was more than I wanted to listen to and it didn't go on for just a page or two. The scene went on and on. I had to fast forward.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Eve Dallas and her billionaire husband are the story.

What about Susan Ericksen’s performance did you like?

I like her ability to change voices for the different characters.

Any additional comments?

The only draw back to Ms. Robb's books is there is rarely any surprise in the end. It's a good book, but I figured out the killer too early.

One of my favorites.

What made the experience of listening to The Ugly Duckling the most enjoyable?

I heard this years ago and enjoyed it very much. The whole idea of a less than beautiful woman being remade inside and out was interesting. I just recently purchased the audio so I could hear it again.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Ugly Duckling?

The lengths the main character was willing to go to make things right. Stepping out of her comfort zone and doing the hard work to change.

Which scene was your favorite?

I didn't have one. I enjoyed the entire book.

Any additional comments?

I don't normally support revenge in any form. But this was a different twist. The book had several unexpected turns that made it good from beginning to end.
