Note that this is part of a trilogy and this story had more romance in it then the first in this series. Which I’m very happy with.

I feel that it’s hard to say much without giving away spoilers. What I can say is this:

* Good storyline
* The characters are growing on me, I feel like I know them better after this book
* No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
* The love scenes is okay but can still have more intensity added to make them more steamy
* It’s a fairy tale for grown ups 😬

Narrator:
I’m sad to say I don’t like the voice particularly but at the same time in some weird way it matches the story ...... I think 🤔
Pronunciation is clear and she reads with feelings. The biggest draw back is that it should have been dual or duet reading because this narrator for me just isn’t mastering the male voices.

Conclusion: I listen even if I’m not totally happy with the narrator so it’s good enough.

Exiting, steamy and a HFN is as close as it get to audio heaven.
Excellent storyline and good characters descriptions.
No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings and good dialogues.

Narrator:
Sarah Puckett is doing a incredible job with the male voices in addition to the female ones.
Clear pronunciation and read with feelings makes it a wonderful time-out from real life.

When is the next book coming, because I want it!!!

I recommend this for everyone that likes paranormal romance.

There’s good storylines in all the 3 stories but they lack the emotions and intensity I find intriguing.

The writing is a little stilted and not flowing well all the time, but at times I really enjoyed it.

No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings and lots of dialogues is a positive experience.

Narrator:
Not my favourite but she had clear pronunciation so it was okay to listen. I really missed a male voice!
Sometimes a female voice manages to make it sound like a male is speaking but I’m sad to say that’s not the case here.

I'm breaking up with setups. No more “you should meet my son, nephew, grandson, the butcher, the guy down the street who mows my lawn.” People mean well, but machines know better, so I'll rely on the great dating algorithms of the web to find my ideal man, thank you very much. Soon enough, it looks like I’ve found him - his screen name is Lucky Suit, and he’s hilarious, quick-witted, and full of heart. But when we finally get together in person, I have the distinct feeling I’ve met him before. Funny enough - he says the same thing about me.

It also helps that the story is good with a storyline that progresses nicely.

It’s a d/lg story so I was a little curious because I’m not a super fan of that ( I read it but it has to be the right amount of it to satisfy me) well, this was just right for me.
The characters are well described.

If you like d/lg, suspense, romance and bikers you will like this.

He's big. He's sexy. And he's hung. The first time I met Pick Revere I tried to bash his head in with a baseball bat. The second time, I kissed the ever-loving daylights out of him on a dare. For a girl who's on the lam and hiding from her cop ex, I'm failing miserably at laying low. Instead, I'm going up in delicious flames - because Pick's the hottest, roughest, toughest bad boy firefighter I've ever laid eyes (or lips) on.

I wanted a family with Cash. We had dreams - building a house, kids, a dog, and, yes, even the white picket fence. I don’t remember anything about my husband. Not the wedding or the vows we shared. The past 10 years were erased, but with time, they’re supposed to come back. But what if this isn’t your typical case of amnesia? What if I’m not supposed to remember? What if I was meant to forget? Maybe I don’t want my old life back. Because if the accident hadn’t happened, I wouldn’t have uncovered the truth. Losing my memory wasn’t tragic. Losing my memory was fate.

I liked this story, it was not hot and overly romantic but it had a strong love story in it without spelling it. That’s what I liked the most.
The internal dialogues in the beginning had me a little confused 🤷🏻‍♀️ but it got better and more understandable.
Characters descriptions was good and by shifting POV I got in to their head and got to know them.
I liked that the storyline was building up to a ending I didn’t see clearly but was revealed little by little.
If I should point out a weakness it must be that the ending was abrupt but it didn’t take away from the overall feeling of experiencing a good story.

Narrator:
Good pronunciation and nice job on reading the male voices.

I enjoyed it very much.

They say your first kiss should be earned. Mine was stolen by a devil in a masquerade mask under the black Chicago sky. They say the vows you take on your wedding day are sacred. Mine were broken before we left church. They say your heart only beats for one man. Mine split and bled for two rivals who fought for it until the bitter end. I was promised to Angelo Bandini, the heir to one of the most powerful families in the Chicago Outfit.
