The story was alright. The narration killed any banter or teasing between the characters because you couldn’t tell who was speaking. Tess was rude for too long in the book and became annoying, also some of the supporting characters were over the top obnoxious. This wasn’t for me...

Cam's duty is her life - and the only thing that keeps her from self-destructing under the unbearable weight of her own deep personal tragedy. However, she hasn't counted on the fact that the beautiful, willful first daughter will do anything in her power to escape the watchful eyes of her protectors, including seducing the agent in charge.

The book has no chemistry and is very robotic. The main character Blair is a reckless petulant self absorbed woman. She likes to just sleep with everything insight because she’s pining for the other character. Author doesn’t show any kind of courting between main characters. How dumb is that?? Cam is closed off I didn’t mind her at all, the book runs in circles and “she can’t be recognized, no one knows who I am” how the hell can they not know when you’re on tv?!!?? Book was not believable at all everything was forced. “Blair doesn’t do this” character continues throughout the book to do certain acts that she doesn’t usually do. I’m glad this book was free.

This is a typical Georgia beers story. Cutsey, lighthearted, not very much depth in this at all. It left me frustrated because of having to wait until the end when they Easton realizes who Bella is, seems so unnecessary to create this fake angst then. The book was very bland I found myself skipping through some of the dialogue just to get to the parts I was waiting for.

Kate is a rapidly rising star of the trauma therapy world - London based, shy, uptight, and with an air of aloofness that masks a deep sense of insecurity. When she has to relocate her "Traumatology for the 21st Century" conference to Horton Hill "Deluxe" Hotel and Conference Centre in the heart of industrial West Yorkshire, she is understandably horrified by the state of the place.

Cool story, quirky but just not my cup of tea. I didn’t care for the dragging out mystery I found myself skipping chapters to get to the romance but only happened once and at the end I guess. Main characters didn’t get a lot of development. Not a romance more of a murder mystery with gay characters

My name is Rachel. I’m straight... I think. I also have a mountain of student loans and a smart mouth. I wasn’t serious when I told Pari Sadashiv I’d marry her. It was only party banter! Except Pari needs a green card, and she’s willing to give me a breather from drowning in debt. My off-the-cuff idea might not be so terrible. We get along as friends. She’s really romantically cautious, which I find heartbreaking. She deserves someone to laugh with. She’s kind. And calm. And gorgeous. A couple of years with her actually sounds pretty good.

I really struggled with Rachael in the beginning of the book although she said she was not interested in Pari or any other woman. The book continues to describe pari’s physical features in a sensual way as if she’s being ogled by Rachael. Pari’s aloofness on and off was annoying and being a spoiled brat made her even less likable. The whole story was hard to connect with. I wish I hadn’t spent the money on it. Best part of this book was the narrator.

It was a nice story and you could somehow relate to the characters. The narration was awful, narrators voice was fine just she couldn’t distinguish between characters so it just sounded like the same person talking the whole book long. Unless there was a “Nora said”. Unfortunately that made it pretty awful to listen to. Really bummed me out.

Falling stars are supposed to be a lucky sign, but not for Austen. Her new job as a secretary in an international games company isn't off to a good start. Her first assignment - decorating the Christmas tree in the lobby - results in a trip to the ER after Dee, the company's second-in-command, gets hit by the star-shaped tree topper. Dee blames her instant attraction to Austen on her head wound, not the magic of the falling star. She's determined not to act on it.

Perhaps I’ll just readdddd thisssss booookkk instead of listening to it.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this whole series by Jae, when I saw it on audible I had to purchase it. The narration is good, although I wish that the voices had been more distinct it was still as good as reading it If not better. I wished Nora’s voice had been switched with Tess. I feel like Tess needed to sound like a southern or something and not this Uber feminine madame. Overall, great book and series can’t wait for the books to come out on audible.

I love all the royal formalities and look in into the love lives of the royals. Enjoyed that the first and second book were tied together by a lot of chapters. I can’t wait for book 3 and 4. Would it be presumptuous to assume there could be a straight Theo romance novel with a gay supporting cast? I hope Theo finds love! He’s one of my favorites.
