Was hoping for greater detail in the Monmouth and Saratoga battles, but much of the book was background, and not enough focus on 1777. Moreover, the Author lacks complete and/or thorough research. Notably, the Author mentions “doubt” that Gates conspired against Washington, when most researchers/Authors confirm that Gates was a conspirator against Washington.

I was hoping for a bit more, being a native Pittsburgher. Moreover, the narration was poor, with lack of proper pronunciation and emotion. Still decent listen for any Western PA. native.
