Well I stuck with it kept hoping it would get better. I kept hoping the storyline with mature along with the characters but it never did and they never did. It was kind of like what a fairytale and hell would be like. I read a lot and I review a lot of books but honestly I have to return this one.
This was the dumbest book I’ve read in years. Sorry, I wanted to give it a good review and I stuck with it, kept thinking it was going to get better but I was extremely disappointed!

I did not think I would like it but I wound up purchasing all three bucks and found that I really enjoyed all three. Having understanding of Jeff Wheeler‘s writings and his background and his spiritual foundations it helps me see the deeper meaning that he’s writing about in his books, and I really enjoy that. I loved the way the series ended.

I liked the developing story line, the reality of how the system works. It wS telling how a child was removed from the home for parents going to jail and they immediately become victims in a system that begins to see and treat them as criminal.
The circumstances surrounding how she escapes and find a way to survive and cope and eventually rise above what’s happened is particularly important in the story.
Good story.

And blinds us to the beauty of Christ's powerful love. In Uninvited, Lysa shares her own deeply personal experiences with rejection - from the incredibly painful childhood abandonment by her father to the perceived judgment of the perfectly toned woman one elliptical over.

Now, all Trynne can imagine is the roar of flames, the cries of Gahalatine's people, and the smell of cinders in a city gone dark. Tragic as the threat to Kingfountain is, it's nowhere near as foul as the treachery posed by Morwenna.

I love how the characters and story have merged with the Muirwood series, that was the first Jeff Wheeler books I read, and I was hooked!! Thanks Jeff, love the books.

In the beginning, they lived like nomads, moving among Southwest desert towns, camping in the mountains. Rex was a charismatic, brilliant man who, when sober, captured his children's imagination. Rose Mary painted and wrote and couldn't stand the responsibility of providing for her family; she called herself an "excitement addict."

Great, moving, sad, riveting, enticing and extremely good book. Took courage to write such a story, but the truth of their lives gives a deep and honest look at the hidden lives of families that raise kids in terribly dysfunctional families, and the strength and gifts that the children learn to over come and rise above. Good book.
