At first I was disappointed with the sameness of the new planet to earth but give it a little time maybe an hour and it really starts to pick up. The struggle for survival and the alien is unbelievable but the writer makes you believe. I would definitely recommend

Then the plague of living death spread around the globe. Despite the best efforts of the superheroes, the police, and the military, the hungry corpses rose up and overwhelmed the country. The population was decimated, heroes fell, and the city of angels was left a desolate zombie wasteland like so many others.

The story is mainly plot driven, the human interest that exists is small and fleeting, all the men and all the women have the same character and it is hard to feel any loss when one dies as his character identical is right next to him. But I will follow up on the series as the plot is very good and I’m curious to see what happens next, I think the author has the capacity to make me eat my words and I hope he does. The performance is stellar and I wouldn’t change a thing about it.

This story is ok, not bad but not great either. Good for a five year old but past the age of nine the story becomes boring. The writer feels the need to keep reminding us that we are in space every ten minutes and the story is predictable and reads like a straight to tv kids movie. The jokes are half hearted and not funny. The story can not decide whether it wants to be ridiculous or thrilling and ends up failing at both.

Sir John Penlyon is planning to spend Christmas at his estate with his niece and his friend Danby, the closest thing he has to family since disowning his daughter years ago. (She eloped with the parson, who was, of course, penniless.) Danby suggests that at Christmastime the estate needs the presence of small children, and offers to find some - the “hirelings” - despite Sir John’s skepticism. Three children duly arrive, and the youngest, precocious four year-old Moppet, quickly endears herself to Sir John.

This charming story has as much place in the traditions of Christmas as Charles Dickens. The tale is sweet and the perfect length to be made to fit into any schedule. Easy to identify with as the humanity one sees in this tale is as relatable now as is was then. Pride, love, shame, hope, and reconciliation.
