Ms. Kelly's expensive way of explaining herself. could have done without it. this review requires 15 words. Any more words on this are wasted time and effort

I wish that I knew that this was a children's book before I purchased it. I couldn't tell from the summary. it was a waste of the first 20 minutes of my time and a waste of money.

while I thought the story was your average Love Story it kept my attention, the narration was hard to get used to and often times I chuckled throughout the book. I often times felt like I was watching a bad SNL skit. the voices were just too much. Being from Boston not everyone speaks the way that the narrator chose and I found the voice is laughable. and I also found the voice of Avril the leading woman, to be really condescending.

narrative was tough to get past

the narrator was not good, making the doctor voice superior and sometimes condescending, although that could have been the authors way, and made female voices sound like helpless twits. I do tend to think the author has a large hand on this.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I couldn't wait for this book to end. While it wasn't the worst book I've read, it was far from the best.

What could Ryan Winfield have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

I found no emotional connection to any of the characters. I realize that a person with a drug/alcohol addiction has no emotiomal connection, however I felt the author should have given us something to have emotion for. I kept waiting for it to happen, and nothing.
