I just woke up from one hell of a night. My body was still tingling all over from the mind-blowing experience of what I went through. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to reflect on that, or even bask in it. I had to attend a demonic shindig and bring an innocent human along with me, most likely for a human sacrifice if what Agent Smith from the Society has told me is true. The problem I'm having is finding a human to bring to the slaughter.

I enjoyed this book however, I feel like not much really happened it felt like this book should have been apart of one complete book. I love the series so far and learning more about the demon society. as for the narrator he did a decent job it was just a few parts during a sex scene he missed the mark with the emotion, one part would say something like he spoke with a low voice but the narrator would almost yell or say something during an emotional part with no emotion at all it sounded almost condescending, and yes I know the character is frustrated in the book but just listening to his internal dialogue it didn't match.

the book was good, I liked the characters and the time they were given to develop, I really felt connected to them. but if you're going to give this a sizzling on the ratings scale it needs more than a bunch of hand/blow jobs there was like 1 legit sex scene. I've listened to books that were WAY more graphic than this, Nicholas Bella now his books are pretty sizzling, this was just a cute soft love story.

Let me first say the only reason I got this book is because I loved the 2nd book in this series loved the narration everything. however, this book was so so bad it seemed like a one sided love story and I know that Will was supposed to be a distant guy and all but it would have helped to have his side of the story told so when he did act like a jerk, we would know his inner dialogue and feelings. Leo was just such a pushover it was frustrating. both of the mc's had no depth and no character development I didn't care for neither one of them.
This book summarizes everything, like a whole chapter would be dedicated to crap that happened within a week's time and it was boring. what really got me is how are you going to go into so much detail about Felicity or what Leo and his friends had for lunch that day but when he and Will got together it was so short and held so little emotion. The MC'S barely spend any time together in this book, there was literally NO RELATIONSHIP the entire book between them and the end was so terrible they get into an argument.
I struggled so hard to finish this book, I don't see how anyone liked this book I think rating it anything over 2 stars is too generous. the only thing that got me through was the narrator he had a nice voice but his choppy narration grated on my ears after a while.
