A rich story with deep and lovable characters, unsuspecting twists and surprises. Aunt Batty has to be my most favorite character as her story unravels she is the glue bringing everyone together as she teaches about love.

John Flanagan provides yet another page turning saga featuring the boys in the Heron Brotherband. Even better than the first two books, the boys are shown to be a true team. The addition of Lydia to the crew is wonderful. This team of “misfits” show that everyone truly can be a vital team member!

Just finished Age of Myth for the second time, reading it right before downloading Book 2, Age of Swords. There were many things I missed the first time which I found on my second listen. While this series in not part of The Riyria Chronicles or Riyria Revelations, if you have read them many little parts of the history are coming together. This is the first of another GREAT series.
