Extreme success, by definition, lies beyond the realm of normal action. If you want to achieve extreme success, you can’t operate like everybody else and settle for mediocrity. You need to remove luck and chance from your business equation, and lock in massive success. The 10X Rule shows you how!

I’m impressed that a whole book can be filled by one principle. Simply work harder. That’s it. Skip the book.

Dr. Ross Greene, a distinguished clinician and pioneer in the treatment of kids with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges, has worked with thousands of explosive children, and he has good news: these kids aren't attentionseeking, manipulative, or unmotivated, and their parents aren't passive, permissive disciplinarians. Rather, explosive kids are lacking some crucial skills in the domains of flexibility/adaptability, frustration tolerance, and problem solving, and they require a different approach.

I'm not sure what the unabridged version covers but this abridged version leaves me wondering why it took 3+ hours to explain 3 types of plans. There were maybe 3 usable phrases to help implement plan b. After that I can't remember what was said. Hopefully the second time to listen will be more productive and maybe the few takeaways in the book will help me and me kid but if not I'm not sure this book was worth the credit I spent on it.
