When half-wolf shifter Frankie Newman receives an e-mail from a family member she didn’t know existed, a secret is revealed: as a child, Frankie witnessed her father killing her mother...and then himself. Frankie was torn from her pack by her mother’s human relatives, and the trauma was erased from her memory. Realizing that she’s been lied to her entire life, she’s never felt more alone. Until she catches the scent of an old friend - warmly familiar and intoxicating. Trick Hardy, enforcer of the Phoenix Pack, can sense the rush of mutual attraction when he sees Frankie again.

Where in the description

does it say the hero likes more than just females? If readers want to purchase a book about a bisexual they will and editors and writers need to understand that not every reader is a millennial who assumes that the hero and heroine could be bisexual, pansexual, transsexual, etc.

There's me: Micah Owens. Tattoo artist at Damage Control. No parents or siblings. A past that still gives me nightmares. And then there's her: Evangeline, the girl who saved my life and haunts my more pleasant dreams. Only she doesn't know who I really am, and telling her might well send her fleeing for the hills. She deserves better than a loser like me. She's pretty. She's clever. She's goddamn sexy and has a heart of gold. Which is why I can't tell her.

The Mail narrator, while likely a nice person, sounds like a 40 or 50-year-old computer support technician -- just not at all the right voice for such a young character. The female narrator was well casted.

Thank you to the author and to the editor for understanding the English language, for understanding grammar and punctuation and to the author for writing such a sweet story with great character development, keeping good pacing, etc. so forth. Bravo! I listened to the audible version - great narration by both talents. Excellent all around!

Women often say a good man is hard to find. And a hard man is even better. That's why I'm quite a catch - good, hard, loaded, and wait for it...I'm ready to settle down too. But the woman I want to pitch my tent with lives clear across the country. Neither of us wants to get lost in those woods. All I have to do is resist her for the week she's in town.

How do I get my money back? Either this author feels too entitled and too comfortable with her audience that she thinks people will read any drivel or this "book" bypassed the editing phase completely. For shame. I try to give each book the old college try but after the second time the cat was the voice and there had been zero action with all dialogue and cat monologue, I was done. Such a disappointment from this author.
