Twenty years ago little Brian Arlington was kidnapped from his family's Long Island estate and was never seen again. The trail went cold, but investigative journalist Griff Hadley has always thought there was more to the story - much more. When the Arlingtons' patriarch invites him to stay at their estate to research his true crime book, Griff can't say no. It's the story of a lifetime. But not everyone is happy about Griff's presence. Relatives and staff alike regard him coldly, including Pierce Mather, the Arlingtons' attractive lawyer.

Stefan Joss just can't win. Not only does he have to go to Texas in the middle of summer to be the man of honor in his best friend Charlotte's wedding, but he's expected to negotiate a million-dollar business deal at the same time. Worst of all, he’s thrown for a loop when he arrives to see the one man Charlotte promised wouldn’t be there: her brother, Rand Holloway.

I just had to listen to this one again before starting after the sunset the second book in the series and I just love these characters even though I've bought his are your book twice once on iTunes and again later on audible from my phone I just had to take it with me the story so when I am wanted a fighting raucous heartfelt story it Keeping Promise Rock by Amy Lane and the first two books from the Cut and Run series are amongst my favorite and the ones that I just had to have on my audible account this story Timing is truly one of my favorites and I highly recommended if you like any of these stories I have mentioned you'll just love "Timing" by Mary Calmes.

Oh and I kind of forgot one of my favorite parts about this story was fell fill the caf and the ongoing, your cow? You don't have a cow. It's towards the end of the story, it made me laugh so hard the first time and no matter how many times I listen to the story I always laugh and laugh at that scene and throughout the entire book laugh cry smile it's always left me feeling so good everytime I listen to this story and hear about Stefan Joss and Rand Holloway. Thank you Mary Calmes for your stories and Sean Crisden for your performances and thanks to the production team for if it weren't for you and people like you making audio books like this one I wouldn't get to enjoy these stories, thank you all.

My one pet peeve would be that he's always so down on his homosexuality he is his own worst enemy but that's sort of his character. I really like the narrator he's awesome. The stories are short I kind of like them but no longer but they are complete individuals started, All in all it's been an enjoyable series today. I highly recommend you try it.

Falling for a coworker is rarely a good idea, especially for a man getting a last chance at salvaging his career. But from the moment Dwyer Knolls sees the beautiful but socially awkward Takeo Hiroyuki, he seems destined to make bad decisions. Takeo's life is a string of failed attempts to please his traditional Japanese father. Unfortunately, succeeding in business turns out to be just as difficult for Takeo as changing from gay to straight.
