Evan Bishop is your typical hotshot doctor. Instead of working on the family ranch, Evan broke the mold and became an ER doctor. He's good with his hands - in more ways than one - smart as a whip and is the definition of God's gift to women. Being a gentleman is in his Southern roots, but that doesn't mean he isn't flawed. Exclusive dating has never been a top priority and his tragic past makes him stay at arm's length. Deciding to let loose for a wild night, he takes a page from the Bishop brother's relationship book and hooks up with a mysterious girl he'll never have to see again.

I adored Evan and Emily’s story, this is a standalone in a series so you can read them in any order you’d like. I personally am going in the release order, Taming Him was great BUT Needing Him is my favorite of the brothers yet. I thought this was a great romance with a bit of suspense mixed in. Seeing all the characters together was great and getting a tease of the other brothers has me intrigued. I love how at the end of the stories we get closure yet a cliffhanger, a tease if you will to the next book and what’s to come. I’m hooked on this series and cannot wait for more.

I've got dating horror stories that would curl your toes and singe your nose hairs, but none of them compare to the toad who started it all: Ellis Walker. He was the boy next door, the charming, infuriatingly gorgeous one who broke my heart and disappeared without a trace. Now, he's back and determined to throw my life into chaos, dredging up painful memories just when things were getting good. But the thing is there are always two sides to every story.

Narration wise, I was hooked. Heather Firth did a great job not wanting me to ever hit pause. 3.8 A quirky, lighthearted read. Overall I enjoyed this story and Lennox getting her thoughts out on her personal blog page, very relatable. There were moments were my interest was fading but over all I thought the will she won’t she between the guys was good. The characters all had their own personalities and blended together well. I’m happy I continued through to the end because you’re guaranteed a HEA.

Micah Beck is the last thing I expect to find wandering around my brother's beach house, naked, only wearing an acoustic guitar, but he's the first thing that has ever had me craving for just one "anything goes" night. Micah is tempting, talented, and addictive to the last drop. Not to mention, he's completely confident in all that he does. Especially with those fingers, and I can't deny that it's such a turn on.

Narration wise, it was great. I felt the characters and their emotions through the speakers. Story wise 3.7 This is an enjoyable rockstar romance/brothers friends trope mix. The storyline was for the most part strong, I did feel a few lags and my interest was slipping but a little past the halfway mark I was pulled back in and wanted to know what was going to happen with these two. Overall I’m happy that I completed the story.

For hundreds of years, the orcs and humans of Doros have shared an uneasy peace. It shatters in an instant with the botched assassination of a human priest in the orc capital. Hell-bent on revenge, the humans take up arms as the orc monarchy crumbles from outside interference. Now, Tace, the unlucky assassin, is on the run. It's soon clear that her mistake hasn't only precipitated a war. It's unleashed ancient powers, the stuff of legends, and fireside tales - and not the cozy kind. Tace has always worked solo, but to save Doros, she'll need to assemble the unlikeliest allies.

Wen and Kai have knocked it out of the water with this narration. The voices and tones provided for each character stand out on their own throughout the story. This is a great fantasy read that incorporates both humans and Orcs together as they head into a battle. We’re taken on the journey with the main characters for an unbelievable ride but the side characters are wonderful as well. The storyline flowed smoothly and at a consistent pace that kept me interested and wanting to know what will happen next. Although this is book one only, I feel as though we’re provided with a good amount of closure on these characters. I will definitely be looking into the next book in this series in the near future.

Hadley Jacobs is over Machlan Gibson. Sure, she’ll always be a little weak to the dimple in his right cheek and the way his five o’clock shadow makes him ruggedly handsome. But that’s not enough to cover every other thing about him because they all drive her nuts. Like how he won’t admit he’s wrong even when he knows it and how he drives his stupid car a million miles an hour on wet asphalt. As she rolls back into town and takes a seat at Crave, she won’t take the bait. She’s over him. Mostly.

Kai and Wen have done it again. I can’t get enough of these two narrators, they bring these characters to life and have your ears swooning over their voices. Story wise Hadley and Machlan have a past that goes deeper then anyone knows about and over time we find out exactly what that secret is and it will leave you heartbroken. The “will they/won’t they” is a constant for a good portion of the story and there are times where I would think one way yet we’re taken in the opposite direction. It’s great seeing all the boys together and still sharing that close family bond with one another. I found this to be an enjoyable read with a HEA that had me smiling ear to ear.

Someone was after her and it was my duty to stop them. Never cross the line. That had always been my rule. But that was before Race True. The moment I saw her, I wanted her. But there was a problem. She wasn't just another pretty face - no, she was my first client at ALFA PI. My take-what-I-want attitude shouldn't include her, but how the hell can I be expected to keep my hands off?

Narration was good, both characters were presented strongly with their emotions. Story wise 3.7 stars. Morgan has his first PI case and he’s in for a rude awakening when he meets his client Race, a woman that stands her ground and fights for what she wants. They have a rocky start as Race tries to fight her desires but once she lowers her guard we get to see a whole other side of this woman. The story was a bit slow paced for me for a bit and it wasn’t until things took a sharp turn that I was pulled into the story and wanted to hear more. Towards the end I felt it dip slightly again but overall it’s a sweet and enjoyable read.

Once, I was nothing. Hungry, abandoned, wandering, and alone. An adolescent street rat fighting for crumbs. Then a chance encounter changed my entire world. A man in an expensive suit asked me how much my life was worth. I didn't have an answer because I didn't know. He asked if I thought it was worth killing for. Impulsively, I said yes.... He found me, then fostered me, and, in the interim, turned me into a killing machine.

This woman is someone you definitely don’t want to cross, there’s a reason why she’s called the Ghostface Killer after all. When she encounters Baz all her rules change, I was hooked more then ever as more and more secrets are revealed and couldn’t believe some of the events that take place. What a story! I got one would never want to be on the wrong side of these Locke brothers. This is a quick paced steamy read that I couldn’t put done.

This story is filled with heartbreak and romance throughout. Maddy comes from a family of metal winning swimmers and she’s setting herself to follow their path. Will has kept his feelings for his brothers girlfriend a secret for years as well as other stories that would break Maddy’s heart. The storyline is strong and I’ve enjoyed that although it’s wrapped around the swimming life and what it takes to make it to finals and try and get first place, there’s so much more then that. Will has a heart that is so big and what he’s willing to take on by himself is admirable. Wonderful story and I adored these characters.

I trust no one. I thrive with control and I've learned to be ruthless and coldhearted. A love life? I'm not interested. But I still have desires. That's where Dahlia came in; my treasure. She had never been a submissive before and I was eager to train her. When I saw her on stage at the auction, dressed in gold, I knew I had to have her. She's mine for an entire month. I own her. But one lie changed everything.

This was an enjoyable read with a bit of BDSM play involved. Lucian is a full fledged Dom, he just hasn’t partaken in the club for a while. Dahlia has a past that now controls for current sexual desires and when her friend invites her to a club that can also help her financially there’s no way she can turn down the opportunity. The flow of the story was consist and I felt the characters connection to each other, the only setback for me was that I felt the ending was a bit rushed. Overall it’s a great read and wasn’t wrapped around the club scene the whole time which I thought was better because see both Dahlia and Lucian in there own light.
