For years, Karlie Kyle has had it bad for Luke McKade - wishing he'd see her as something more than just a shy girl in braided pigtails. But now that she's all grown up, she's ready to stake her claim and brand the heart of the sexy, smooth-talking cowboy who "can't be tamed". Punched with lust from the moment he sees her again, Luke is shocked when he realizes that little Karlie Jo isn't so little anymore. When she tempts him with a proposition he just can't refuse, he's happy to oblige - temporarily.

Luke is a smokin' read and an even hotter listen. Lewis and Williams work well together. Lewis provided the words that grab ahold of your heart and Williams gives them the voice that brings them to life. Karlie has waited on the sidelines for years, waiting for the guy of dreams to take notice. Now it's time to claim her man. Luke never knew what hit him. A tempting battle of hearts that is worth every minute.

I belonged to you the moment you told my mama you were waiting for me when I was still inside her stomach. I belonged to you as we grew up sharing a tree house, a yard, and the lake. I even belonged to you when our three-year age difference tried to pull us apart rather than put us together. But I was most especially yours when you kissed me and told me you weren't letting me go.

Evans supplied the words. Puckett gave the melody. My Life as a Country Album reminds me why I love to read romance. Cam and Jake are a mixture of angst, youth and sentiment. Against the backdrop of some of my favorite songs, Evans has created a beautiful tale of young love and adult heartache. The maturity level reads so far above young adult. This is a story that goes far beyond words and speaks to the heart.

Hailey Bishop was used to low expectations, accepting whatever the world’s tides sent her way. She had a boyfriend, a best friend, and a degree in library sciences, although no job yet. If Brian ever proposed, she'd probably say yes. Then Hailey got the "letter", unexpectedly, from a sister at the orphanage in which she'd grown up. It revealed the name of her birth mother. It took Hailey only a few Google searches to find Annabel Edwards, who was semi-famous and living in Spain. Hailey not only had a mother, but two sisters who each had triplets.
