They call her Traitor Kate. It’s a title Kate Brighton inherited from her father after he tried to assassinate the high king of Rime. Cast out of the nobility, Kate now works for the royal courier service. Only the most skilled ride for the Relay and only the fastest survive, for when night falls, the drakes - deadly flightless dragons - come out to hunt. I love this book so much. It was an excellent read and never a dull moment. I would highly recommend this book to those who are a fan of Children of Blood and bone and any Sarah J Maas books or Laini Taylor books. I didn't know the narrator, Kristine Hvam, narrated the Daughter of smoke and bone series too. So you know she does a good job for this one.

I thought this book was okay there was some parts that I didn’t like involving character development and the character scenes. Wasn’t a fan of the narrator but it was a okay book.

I didn't much like the narrative in this one or the fact that they never all met back together.
