Would you consider the audio edition of Dark of Night to be better than the print version?

i do since I never have the time to sit down and enjoy the book. Dealing with ADD all my life concentration is really hard but listening makes all the difference. I can see the characters as the dialogue is being spoken and their surroundings and being a tactical learner, walking around actually

What did you like best about this story?

That at least in this apocolyptic world some of my favorite characters are still around but the suspense is killing me on one fact.....which I won't spoil

Which character – as performed by Ray Porter – was your favorite?

Of course Joe ledger

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The cop, the modern man, and the warrior

Callis Rose is a girl blessed with a gift from above or cursed with a ruthless power she barely understands; it's really just a matter of degrees. As her family life is turned asunder she is thrown into an indifferent Social Services program where she defends herself the only way she knows how. Callis is moved from home to home until she finally settles at the Lowries. As she starts her first day of high school she meets both her favorite and least favorite person. Both happen to be part of the same household.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I sure would, whenever I re-listen to Zombie fallout and discover I've missed something like a name or a new character, I try to find the book and BT mentions her in ZF7. Any fan of mark tufo would be interested in all the branch off stories that somehow connect to the ZF series.

What other book might you compare Callis Rose to and why?

Maybe to Carrie minus the pigs blood and murderous rampage at prom

What about Sean Runnette’s performance did you like?

The fact that the littlest influction of his voice changes the character he's speaking for and you can tell who is who.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It was

They came after the Diseray. Some were terrors ripped from our collective imaginations, remnants of every mythology across the world. And some were like nothing anyone had ever dreamed up, even in their worst nightmares. Now, the luckiest Cits live in enclosed communities, behind walls that keep them safe from the hideous monsters fighting to break through.

I really liked the story build up with a lot of information as to why this is going on or why this needs to be kept secret

Who was your favorite character and why?

Joy is for the simple fact that she has very interesting and apparently rare hounds

What about Amy Landon’s performance did you like?

I like that she's acting out the dialogue and not just reading

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

From the best-selling author of The Chronicles of St Mary's. The Nothing Girl has grown up.... It's life as usual at Frogmorton Farm - which is to say that events have passed the merely eccentric and are now galloping headlong towards the completely bizarre. Once again Jenny struggles to stay afloat in the stormy seas of matrimony with her husband, Russell Checkland, together with an unlikely mix of Patagonian Attack Chickens, Jack the Sad Donkey and Mrs Crisp's mysterious boyfriend.

Agent Franks of the U.S. Monster Control Bureau is a man of many parts - parts from other people, that is. Franks is nearly seven feet tall and all muscle. He's nearly indestructible. Plus he’s animated by a powerful alchemical substance and inhabited by a super-intelligent spirit more ancient than humanity itself. Good thing he’s on our side. More or less.
