For Bonnie, his life had been lived, and the bittersweet memories of his wife, along with the neverending sorrow of losing his son so young remain with him, but they are now ebbing away slowly with the passing of the years. His days of love, warmth, and tenderness well past and all that is left is his last few quiet years to grow old. Alone, yet content. What he had done, he had done and what had happened, had. All that remained was to live out the rest of his life in a new place, far away from his checkered past. His days passing with the regularity that an old man desires.

Although the narrator has a pleasing voice his reading of the story is poor. For this reason I had a really hard time getting into the story.

The story itself has a good premise and had potential but I just didn't connect with it.

I was given this book to provide an honest review.

The Irish rock band Rogue is made up of four best friends. Nothing can come between them . . . or can it? Gavin McManus always knew he was born to be a famous singer/songwriter. This confidence, along with his sexy, but wounded, rock-star mystique propels his band Rogue into the spotlight. Sophie Kavanaugh was drawn to Gavin long before he found fame. Her own desire to be what he needed, to somehow be the one to fix him, binds them together in a desperate kind of love. Conor Quinn has always dismissed his attraction to Sophie as harmless, but could it be something more?

Wow. This book is well worth the read but the audio version with Lee Bropy is a very swoon worthy listen.

This story spans many years with many characters but it is easy to follow.

I love these characters and will definitely be continuing with the series.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Izzy - Dying young is tragic. Dying young and being reborn over and over for all eternity? That’s exhausting. My goal had always been to reunite with my sister witches and break the curse put on us. Love was a risk I wasn’t willing to take. It wasn’t worth knowing it’d end in heartbreak. Then a handsome beast found me and took me as his mate. Grant McTavish linked our souls without giving me a choice. Now, with a ticking clock, a shifter pack on the hunt for me and my sisters, and Grant trying to claim my heart, I’ve got to save myself in order to save the man I don’t want to love.

I had never listen to these narrators before and the author is also new to me. I will definitely be checking out more by this author and narrators.
