My daughter recommended this book to me. I was not anticipating the connections I would experience while listening to it. The nostalgic references of '80s TV, movies, music & commercials allowed me to relive many memories. I graduated college in 1972. The commodore 64 was the first computer we owned and later an IBM. I was far from a computer or gamer geek though I had friends that spent hours and hours in arcades. This book brought back so many memories which enabled me to figure out clues along with the hero. The story with has heavy warnings for the future. The wealthy and the powerful corporations in it leave our world populations struggling to scrape by trying to survive. It's a David vs Goliath story with some hope. The story is a good one.

In November 2014, 13 members of the Biden family gathered on Nantucket for Thanksgiving, a tradition they had been celebrating for the past 40 years; it was the one constant in what had become a hectic, scrutinized, and overscheduled life. The Thanksgiving holiday was a much-needed respite, a time to connect, a time to reflect on what the year had brought, and what the future might hold. But this year felt different from all those that had come before.

Too real given today's political, governmental and world environment.

This story is about an artist that barely earns her daily bread by working for "copies.com". She is a good painter but making her own art isn't selling enough to keep her going. I loved the descriptions of different the painting styles & techniques of several of the famous artists through history. The technical forgery information was pretty amazing.
