This is my first Helena Hunting book, and I now have one more favorite author. It was so funny that I’m still chuckling over certain parts.

The narrators were perfect for their characters. It’s a pleasure to hear narrations that make a book even more enjoyable. I didn’t want to put it down. I’m going to have to listen to this book again, very soon.

Seattle event planner Allison Lane is an expert at delivering the perfect wedding - even if she might not exactly believe in the whole"'til death do us part" thing. When her father decides to tie the knot with a woman he barely knows, Allison heads to Sweet, Texas, to make sure his new honey is the real deal. What she didn't expect to find at the local honky-tonk was a sexy Southern man as bent on charming her pants off as he is on blowing her "true love doesn't exist" theory all to hell.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I recommend this audiobook to anyone who loves contemporary romance.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the characters. They were all people that Id love to know, if they weren't fictional, that is.

Have you listened to any of Xe Sands’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Xe Sands is one of my favorite narrators. When I see a book that has been narrated by her I automatically buy it. She makes the characters come alive. She is truly gifted.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Love Texas style

Any additional comments?

This is my first Candis Terry book. I really enjoyed this, and plan to look for more books by her.

The combination of Anne Gracie and Alison Larkin makes a perfect romance. I started it, and listened to it, and started it again. Now I'm starting the series over again, so I can enjoy the whole story, all at once. I'm recommending it to all my friends. It's a keeper, and as a huge fan of romance novels I can say "You will love this series!".

The story pulls you in from the beginning, and can't put it down. No matter how long between relistening to it I can't stay away too long. Then, I laugh, and cry, and, wonder how it's possible to feel sympathetic toward both main characters. This book is a treasure.

Kate Reading did a beautiful narration for this book. I'm always amazed at the talent it takes to perform so many characters one after another. It is stunning, and very appreciated.

I had been resisting purchasing the Meredith Duran books because I had never heard/read any of her books before. Then I read the reviews, I was astounded by the reviews of the narrator, Alison Larkin, the reviews are what had actually induced me to buy the two author's books. I couldn't imagine a book that was narrated by Alison Larkin getting such terrible reviews.

Since the first book I had heard narrated by her, I have been going book-by-book through her list. I am a self described romance fanatic, I won't mention my vast audiobook collection, but suffice it to say I have heard many audiobooks, and Alison Larkin is one of my absolute favorites. She has amazing talent, and brings every book to life, and every character in a crowd is easily distinguished. There is a huge difference between just reading a book, and narration. Compare Julia Roberts (who narrated "Nanny Diaries") to Alison Larkin, and Alison Larkin would win, hands down. I only hope she will read many more romances in future.

I was, happily, introduced to Meredith Duran's books by way of the narrator. What a great combination of author and narrator. I will look forward to more of her books.

I think the characters were delightful. Isn't it great when you try a book by an author you haven't read, and they turn out to be wonderful?

The narrator was enjoyable to listen to, and I would listen, happily, to other books narrated by her.

This book made my Mother's Day complete!

I loved this book! From beginning to end it was one of those can't stop listening to it books. The characters are all so special. I didn't want it to end. I laughed so hard at the part when the Duke first goes to meet his new wards, it was genius! Amelia Grey is new to me, but has shot to the top of my must read list. I'm am a self proclaimed romance super fan, considering the volume of romances I have either read or listened to well over 500, so when I say get "get this one" I can tell you with confidence, you're going to love it.

The narrator can either make or break a book for me. If I'm going through a time when I want to find something new, I might look at what a really good narrator has done in the past, which I started doing with my all time favor narrator, Josephine Bailey. I honestly thought, at times, that the narrator was Josephine Bailey. I just hope Barrie Kreinik will narrate all of Amelia Grey's books, past as well as future books, because the combination is wonderful!

This was a sweet romance. I was a bit skeptical about the hero's abrupt change of heart regarding the heroine, it we from icy to blazing in an instant. Then I just thought I'd just go with it. I'm glad I did. It was worth putting a little trust into the author.

The narration was great too.
