I greatly enjoyed Before the Storm and I do highly recommend it for wow or just general f&sf fans. The narration is very well done also.

If picking, I have BfA beta access and have played it, so I was a bit surprised that there is a fairly significant event gap between the end of this book and the events in BfA. The book title does point that out though, and War Crimes->WoD had a similar gap. Story-wise I also think the climax of the story could have taken a different and more interesting path than where it went. But overall it was a very good book.

Some may overlook this one since there were a few other wow books released around the same time, but I suggest this not missing it. The story touches on struggles and the foundation of the orcs in a compelling way. The story pulls you in and if you are a fan of other wow books it is one to definitely pick up.
