I loved everything about this book. Kate Morton's words held my attention from beginning to end, the characters will long be remembered, and the narration was perfect. I seldom listen to any audio book a second time, but suspect I will come back again to The Forgotten Garden. I will also purchase other books by this author. Highly recommended!

This was my first Kristen Higgins book. I'm glad that I didn't read her others first, because I would have been expecting something of this one like many fans did. This is actually the best book I have listened to in a long time. The writing was amazing, the characters were extremely well-developed, and the story moved me deeply. While I can understand that some did not like Amy Rubinate's nasal narration, it grew on me after a while and wasn't so bad. I would love a part two to this story simply to find out what happens to the main characters in the future. All in all, this was an excellent use of a credit. I am looking forward to reading Kristan Higgins' other books.

Jason Thorn...my brother's childhood friend. Oh, how stupidly in love with that boy I was. He was the first boy who made me blush, my first official crush. Sounds beautiful so far, right? That excitement that bubbles up inside you, those famous butterflies you feel for the very first time - he was the reason for them all. But you get to live in that fairy tale world only until they crush your hopes and dreams and then stomp on your heart for good measure. And boy did he crush my little heart into pieces.

I must admit that I read reviews containing spoilers before I started listening. I couldn't understand why a certain tragedy had to take place. It had angered so many reviewers. Now, while I too would have handled the story in a way that could have eliminated the tragedy, I do see why Sylvia Day wrote it that way. It was a fairly satisfying conclusion to the series, though personally it still left me wanting a bit more. The main thing I really did not like, however, was tremendous over-dramatization by the narrators, especially Jeremy York. I actually would have preferred Jill Redfield narrating the entire book. There were times when Jeremy's voice and over-acting were extremely aggravating!
