Four years ago, LAPD detective Harry Bosch was on a movie set, asking questions about the murder of a young production assistant, when an armored car arrived with $2 million cash for use in a heist scene. In a life-imitates-art firestorm, a gang of masked men converged on the delivery and robbed the armored car with guns blazing. The crime was never resolved, and the young woman's murder was in the stack of unsolved-case files Bosch carried home the night he left the LAPD.

Would you try another book from Diane Capri and/or Corey M. Snow?

The reader did his best he didn't bring the book to life. Neither did the author. The story was ok but not in Lee Child's league by a long shot.

Has Jack in the Green turned you off from other books in this genre?

No, I'll just make sure I stick with, Lee Child when I reach for a Reacher.

Would you be willing to try another one of Corey M. Snow’s performances?

Not until he improves as a reader.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

None i can think of.

Any additional comments?

Readers should be trained voice actors. Editors should delete cliches and weak writing.

In this masterful work, listeners will encounter: the poets Petrarch and Boccaccio, the fathers of the Renaissance; the paintings, sculptures, and architecture of Milan, Florence, and Venice; the life and accomplishments of Leonardo DaVinci; the Catholic church and the popes of Avignon and Rome; the politicians and philosophers of Italy, including the Borgia family, Julius II, and Machiavelli; the Italian Wars, the conflicts with France, and the country's decline.
