Ryder Rodgers had a plan. He was going to stride into the conference room, do the required song and dance over the next five days, and win the biggest contract of his career. But when he walked in and heard the voice of one of his competitors, all his plans were shot to hell. Harper Denton. She was always on top. In college. First in their class. Always using every advantage to edge him out to win the coveted positions. The only one who could beat him. His academic rival.

Rivals since high school, these two bump heads again in a most delicious way when they are faced with bidding the same job years after parting ways. There's a lot of tension and sexiness is this short but packed second chance story.
I can't say enough good things about the narrationg duo of Sebastian York and Andi Arndt. Once again, they knocked it out of the park.

Zane Phillips mistook me for his dog walker. It shouldn’t surprise me that the man with a suit more expensive than my rent would assume that I was there to serve him. The positive? I put him in his place. The negative? I missed my job interview because of it. Now I find out he’s a rich Australian entrepreneur, and he wants to make up for tanking my interview. Yes, he’s impossibly hot - but he’s also an arrogant jackass - so...no thanks. But after a little white lie I tell spirals out of control, I’m somehow offered the chance to play Zane’s girlfriend to help promote his new dating website....

Putting the sex-on-a-stick egomaniac in his place put this desperate out-of-work model in a bit of a jam when the tables are turned and the pair are saddled together for longer than what they both bargained for.
Rupert Channing's accent was so sexy and I just love Erin Mallon.

In the theme of Camelot, this dinner theater quasi-villain is instantly attracted to the damsel in distress and her big brother. This was a darling of a story witha theme of handling bullies, navigating uncharted but wanted territory, and learning and using inner strength in diverse situations. Very well written romance.
I really enjoyed listening to the Narration of this book. Becca Ballinger is new to me but seemed to be the perfect fit to bring out the sweetness of this novel.

The whole story was very well written. Sebastian York did a fantastic job at bring this duet to life and keeping it exciting throughout.

Jake is more like Robin Hood than a thief and Stephanie has an inside track; both after the same thing - money that's been taken from its rightful owners. But, are they? Sebastian York gives another great, sexy performance for this book.

At fifteen I fell in love. His name was Jake Stephens and he took the abandoned, lonely girl I had been and made me whole. His love was a pure and unconditional love that made every day better than the last; a fairy tale of my very own. But this story isn't about Jake. It's about Abel Madden; the man I meet after the fairy tale goes to hell. A cocky, arrogant man who says what he wants, does as he pleases, and makes no excuses for it. He irritates me--downright pisses me off at times--but he also brings me back to life.

Wow! This was such an emotional love story. Not at all what I expected.

I'll be honest, this was not the first book I attempted to listen to by this author. I just couldn't get into the first one, but decided to give this one a try when I read the summary and listened to the sample clip. It took me a chapter to get used to an unfamiliar narrator (Tracy Marks) and it's quite a bit before Aaron Shedlock (love him!!!) joins. Within the first three chapters, I was hooked.
This poor girl's life ran the gammot: from foster care to rays of hope, leading into shattered dreams and then followed by the possibilities of a new beginning. It has been a while since I read/listened to a book that so gutted me with all these characters had been though, but then put me back together again, the way this one did.
True romance, true women's strength, with an adventurous but unexpected twist. Read it/listen to it. I'm so glad I did.

But the instant I run into her again I've got one goal and one goal only—a second chance. The plan? Go big or go home. Fine, at first glance, stripping naked at my ex-girlfriend's place of work might not seem like the brightest way to win her heart again. But trust me on this count—she always liked me best without any clothes on. And sometimes you've got to play to your strengths when you're fighting an uphill battle.

I love a really good heartfelt young romance. And that is what this was. Levi is desparately grabbing for a connection to the eatranged father he can't quite figure out. Aria wants to be invisible to the world as she goes through the next horrendous year, but what she really wants is to be truly and unconditionally loved.
Paired up for a school project, Levi's musical talent and Aria's painting skills pull them together and a unique friendship develops. Along with their closest friends, they navigate through the toughest year of their lives in a school that knows no bounds for cruelty.

This story was just so well written. Fully developed characters with relatable real-world problems plaguing today's youths, there was a beautifully broken undercurrent to each one of the kids but was offset by strength of will and unflattering convictions that made them survivalists.
This is the first time I have listened to the narrators Bailey Carr and Scott Aiello. They did an amazing job of bringing out the souls of the characters.

The other nannies in this city don't call him the Sexy One for nothing. My boss, the amazingly wonderful single father to the girl I take care of every day is ridiculously hot, like movie star levels with those arms, and those eyes, and that body. Not to mention the way he dotes on his little girl melts me all over. But what really makes my knees weak are the times when his gaze lingers on me. In secret. When no one else is around. I can't risk my job for a chance at something more, can I? But I don't know how to resist him much longer either.
