This book is kind of all over the place. I listened to it for a couple hours and tried to keep going hoping for something interesting but just couldn’t get there. It’s very detailed, but to a fault for me.

This book was gripping from the first 10 minutes. The writing was phenomenal and it's the kind of book I don't want to put down. Unfortunately, the ending happens way too fast. Several pivotal things happened to main characters with no story about what led up to it and what went down... I was very disappointed with the ending.

This story was interesting but throughout the book, it was hard to understand. Not because it was poorly written though. I think the concepts and imagination were a bit challenging for me to grasp and keep me hooked.

I love fantasy books. The story line for this one is pretty good but the dialogue and narrative has very cheesy humor. Probably better suited for elementary age kids. That being said, I think it's more fitting for my 8 year old than for myself. I'll definitely be passing on the remainder of the series

These books are gripping. The writer is phenomenal. I'm definitely going on to the next one. My only gripe is the performer changed from book one to book two. It's like a great movie making a sequel having different actors for the same characters. That being said, the second performer does a good job. He loses the southern accent though which lost some of the authentic feeling

This was a great book. Well written and exciting. There are some gut wrenching aspects that can be hard to get through. Also, there are a couple spots in the book where one chapter follows the same timeline as the next, causing too much foreshadowing to leave wonder for what's coming next. Aside from those aspects, I loved it!

Such a great ending to the trilogy. Plenty of twists and turns with a heart felt ending.
