I was given a free audible code to evaluate this book. I tried so hard to get into this book but i just couldn't. The narrarator talked and said her words so fast that i couldn't understand most of what was going on. i tried slowing the speed way down but still the words were way to fast. i tried on several occasions to give it a go and Just can't. i usually work and listen and have never had issues. i tried just listening without doing anything at the same time, to no avail.

Influenza swept the planet. In months, two billion were dead. In the decimated United States, President Andrew Thomas signed an Executive Order to spray the national food and water supply with a flu vaccine. It spread and mutated up the food chain. The infected craved the flesh of the living and the undead walked the earth. Overnight, Emily Gray's privileged world was ripped away.

I was given an audible code for free to give an honest opinion on this book.
I am an avid audible listener and have over 100 books in my library. This book is a great addition to my audible library of Zombie books. The author changed an everyday zombie book into something totally different. She threw twists in at every turn, which kept the book interesting . There is action, death by zombie, love, and much much more.
The characters were well thought out and well developed. i will be spending my own money for books 2 and 3 in this series.

The narrator did a great job with the narration of this book. He really brought the characters to life and made them 3 dimensional. iI would love to fight along side Emily during the zombie invading force.

Great Job!

Annabelle's fondness for exploring the outer limitations of propriety does not imply that she has no desire to find someone in her life strong enough to take her in hand when she has gone too far. Jumping onto the wrong train, and then travelling alone with a handsome stranger to a house party is bad enough behaviour to get her into all sorts of trouble with the people who are putatively in charge of her. In this man's company, can Annabelle maintain the image of the demure young lady that society demands?

This was my firat go into an audiobook inthis genres. It is what I thought it would be and more. Very Very racy, it took me awhile to finish this book due to the nature of the book. The audio book u generally listen to I listen while i cook, clean etc so my girls hear them as well. This book on the other hand... lol yeah, not kid appropriate. I really enjoyed the book and marvel at the narrator who just continues without worry through the more racy parts. The author and narrator were great together. The characters were well developed and brought to life by the narrator.

Different story from what I usually listen to. I really enjoyed the story and found the narration enjoyable as well. The thought that even in the 40s the Government could wipe out a Mans past is crazy. Once I started the book i did not stop until it was finished.
Great book for really anyone, it pretty much had it all. Conspiracy, alien, sci fi, love and love loss, mystery etc...

You really can't go wrong with this one. The narrator brings life to the characters and was pretty entertaining as well.
Great job!

I started this book Friday night around 6 pm. Today is Saturday 7pm. This sgould tell you how hard it was to put down.
The author has the ability to get his readers interacting with the characters. I caught myself talking to them and wanting to give a smack a character. Almost immediately you find yourself cheering, grieving and laughing with the characters.
The narrator does a great job with the narration. The characters are distinct and have their own personalities. The narrator easily makes the reader feel as if they aren't just observers but part of the action.
Purchase this book and you will enjoy it.

I listened to the series back to back amd fell more in love with each added book. The narrator on the first books was the bomb! He kept your attention and he was into each character. This narrator coming right after the book prior is hidious! I almost shut the book down. The only reason I didn't is because of the first books and I was already entwined and needed to hear this next edition. Had I had to wait for this edition on audio I would have turned it off. Other than narrator the book is great!
