Delaney is a jewel and her friendship with Ryan is priceless. I think all relationships should start out this way, organically. The book was such a good read, or in my case listen. I could feel the emotion, up and down, throughout the narration, which was good too. Alex, was a piece of work but turned out to be a pretty okay person. I love how the townspeople came together to help and support the campgrounds. That's what it should be about.
I loved the book Cassidy!!

Years ago, Kelly McIntyre and Andrew York were engaged and dreaming of opening a restaurant together. Then he chose an opportunity to study in Paris over the small-town life they’d planned, and their romance came to a bittersweet end. But Kelly’s doing fine. She’s not only the owner of a potbellied pig named Gray, but also of her own bakery. Business is good - so good that she’s invited to compete in a Valentine’s Day bake-off. As she prepares for the contest, she tries not to get distracted by Andrew’s visit to town.

Angela Carson wants nothing more than to be the third generation to run her family’s holiday store, Heart of Christmas, successfully. They’ve weathered more than 60 tourist seasons, major hurricanes, and urban sprawl from their old decommissioned lighthouse. But the national chain that set up shop in their small North Carolina town of Pleasant Sands may be more than Heart of Christmas can survive. Encouraged by her niece to ask Santa for help through the Dear Santa app, Angela gives in and lets the words fly in a way that would no doubt land her on the naughty list.

Poor Lucas, seems like the good ones always marry the nut jobs. But Lucas handled it pretty well, I think. And Marcy, although she couldn't resist Lucas, was just what he needed. Someone that was smart and sensible. Sharon's description of what the Seal's mission entails are always edge of your seat descriptions. But the love of how the Seal's love their women just takes my breath away.

I've seen the Hallmark movie but had to read the book as well. And although the movie was changed a bit, I still loved the book! The book had a lot more details like, Mac having a son and then included the accident Sydney's daughter was in and also Sydney's ex husband was included in book. So I can see how Hallmark couldn't possibly include all of this in the movie. But I really enjoyed both.
