Six years ago, Gaby was the most popular girl in high school. Then the world ended. Times have changed, and everyone’s unanimous choice for homecoming queen is all grown up. These days she’s part of something greater than herself: a group whose sole mission is to restore order to a ravaged world that badly needs them. Gaby will do whatever it takes to get the job done - as a soldier, a leader, or when necessary, a killer. Dispatched into Texas to investigate a series of deadly raids on former ghoul collaborator towns, Gaby’s mission is to collect intel and report back.

For every night, there is a new dawn. One night. That was all it took for the world to be forever changed. Creatures that once lived in the shadows rose, spreading like a plague across the globe, swallowing whole cities and collapsing unprepared governments. Survivors call it The Purge. In the months since, every night has been a struggle against the supernatural terrors that thrive in the darkness. The days are no better, with constant battles against human traitors that have chosen to serve the new overlords. But an end to the nightmare is finally at hand.

Man is no longer at the top of the food chain. The Purge has devastated the globe, turning much of humanity into night-dwelling, bloodthirsty creatures (dubbed "ghouls" by the survivors), while small pockets of remaining humans have managed to carry on. Will learns that a larger war between survivors and ghouls is raging in the rest of the country, but before he can join the fight, he must first ensure the continued survival of his group at all costs.
