It was just a typical Monday. Until the big boss asked me to make the pitch for a prospective new client. After two years on shaky ground at work because of my screw up, an opportunity to impress the senior partners was just what I needed. Or so I thought, until I walked into the conference room and collided with the man I was supposed to pitch to. My coffee spilled, my files tumbled to the ground, and I almost lost my balance. And that was the good part of my day. Because the gorgeous man who crouched down and looked at me like he wanted to eat me alive was none other than my ex.

I enjoyed some of the chapters. I skipped through others.

Andi Arnt and Sebastian York are my favorite voice actors! I love their range of charactors and the emotion in their voices. <3 I listen to some books just to hear them speak.

It should have been easy. I needed the money. He needed a babysitter to keep him from snorting himself to death. I was cherry-picked especially for him. Responsible. Optimistic. Warm. Innocent. The worst part is that I should have known better. Alex Winslow. British rock star. Serial heartbreaker. Casanova with whiskey eyes. “Don’t get near the devil in a leather jacket. He’ll chew you up and spit you out.” Guess what? I didn’t listen. I signed the contract. World tour. Three months. Four Continents. 100 shows. My name is Indigo Bellamy, and I sold my soul to a tattooed god.

The author should have stopped at Paris. The last few chapters were painful to read/listen to. Cigarettes, drug addiction, self destruction...all given up by a man in love.

It's a nice fairy tale, but the guy was such an asshole that I didn't enjoy it.

The voice actors were amazing: articulate, emotional, with great timing and a brilliant range of characters. Well done.

The voice actors were amazing! I love that men read the male parts and females read the fenale parts, rather than having one read the entire chapter.

To the authors: please vary the descriptions. "You could have knocked me over with a feather," "By the Gods!" and other phrases were repeated too many times. Cliches are useful when used sparingly; used too much, they distract from the story.

Looking forward to the next book!

Cassie Franklin trips over nothing on perfectly flat surfaces every day, and she cannot seem to be able to simultaneously speak and look into her audience's eyes. Cassandra Frank is the ultimate tease; her words have aroused, intrigued and captured the heart of thousands...and somehow, they are the same person. Hiding the fact that she writes erotica isn't much of a challenge - no one would ever think that a plain, boring little accountant like Cassie could so much as read anything so scandalous...but one day, she makes a huge mistake.

I'm one puff piece away from tearing up my journalism degree and hurling my laptop into the Hudson River. So when I smell a juicy story brewing at my brother's Wall Street investment firm, I'll do whatever it takes to get my scoop. One clever disguise later, I'm deep undercover as the firm's newest broker, simultaneously gathering intel and spouting off stock tips like a boss. Go me, right? Sure, it sounds good on paper, but there's a catch: the actual boss. Chief Executive Panty-melter Jack Holt is cocky. Infuriating. And one smoldering look has me ready to violate every rule in the employee handbook. Thank God my assignment has an expiration date. Because falling for my brother's best friend and business partner is a lose-lose proposition. Right?

I was never supposed to be a rock star. I had my life all planned out for me. Play football in college. Go to the NFL. Marry my high school sweetheart and live happily ever after. I broke both our hearts that day when I told her I was leaving. I was young. I made the right decision for me, but the wrong decision for us. I've poured my soul into my music, but I've never forgotten her. Her smell, her smile. And now I'm going back. After 10 years. I hope I can explain that after all this time. I still want her to be my forever girl.

Liam is a jerk. He treats women like tissues then throws them away. We're supposed to feel sorry for him, because he chose to stay away ftom his hometown for 10 years?

Then there's Nick, the guy who dated Josie and treated her son like his own for 6 years. As soon as Liam shows up, Josie pulls away from him. He responded poorly, but with good intentions. If Josie would have talked to him more often and honestly, their relationship would have survived.

I can't believe she chose the worldclass jerk over the nice guy.

I have a history of picking the wrong guy. Gay? Player? Momma's boy? Check, check and check. Now I can't stop fantasizing about one of the customers at the coffee shop I work at between classes. It's just a harmless crush, right? It's not like I ever see this guy outside of the coffee shop. It's not like I'm going to see him while attempting to get birth control at the student clinic. While wearing a paper gown. While sitting on an exam table. Because he's the doctor. Shoot. Me.

I do not appreciate humiliation ( being called a dirty slut, for example); I consider that verbal abuse. If you want to talk dirty to me, call me gorgeous and say that I drive you crazy. that language is more uplifting.

I also didn't appreciate that the man had all tgr power in the relationship, to the point that he decided where she would live. That was too overbearing for my tastes.

Else, it was a decent story, with a great ending. The voice actress was fantastic.

Gritty, foul language, and hard to follow. The cuss words and adjectives were so thick that I lost track of the sentence, much less the paragraph. Reminded me of the movie "Training Day," but the book makes the movie seem G-rated. I made it to Chapter 6; can't listen to any more.

The voice actor was great. He spat out the filth with the contempt that was appropriate to the dialogue, with admirable timing.
