I like to be surprised by the possible, even if a little farfetched, but this book ventured more than once into both the farfetched and slightly ridiculous. I really enjoyed book one, so stuck with this one hoping it would get better. I felt like Brad was writing with a movie in mind, rather than writing a book that could later be adapted for a movie. I will move on to book 3, but if it falls short I will stop there in this series.

Infidelity and the downward spiral of a worst case scenario is. just not my idea of a good book. Disturbing at best. If I could return book I would.

Shock, awe, terror, tears and amazement! Yes, at nearly 23 hours in length one may think it would lag and drag BUT NO ....the details are what draw you in!! I can't help but think that every person should listen to the book so that we can avoid ANYTHING like this every happening!! War is a horrible thing and this book paints that realistic picture through the eyes, hearts and minds of many on all side of the battle. I work at a high school and will recommend this books to my students with Hope's that our next generation will hed the warning.

Where does technology fit into our humanness? Are we allowing technology to feed us rather than allowing our humanness to balance technology. What are the results in our own lives, in the lives of our children? Cart or horse? Listen and then review these questions again.

After my disappointment from the last book, I was holding my breath waiting to see if this book stepped back up to 5 out of 5 or fell flat. Well, it surpassed 5 out of 5 stars!! Thrilling and soft ...fantastic!!

I have totally enjoyed this series UNTIL 3/4 of the way through this book! Sure, my believability was stretched in some of the previous books, but NEVER BROKEN. In an effort not to move into spoiler alert territory, as my daughter would say ...you could hear my eyes roll at least a dozen times toward the end of the book. I even put it down for a day to decide if I could overcome the ridiculousness and finish the book. I did and my overall review moved from a 1 at the 3/4 mark to a 3 by the end. I will likely move onto the next book in the series BUT if disappointed again then I am done.

GREAT BOOK .....this is an awesome series!! So far I have only seen 2 missteps ...1st was in previous book when Mitch's house did not have motion camera's and s surveillance on the roof...and of course outing Nash in this book would put his family in more danger; Mitch knows that 1st hand through his loss of Anna.
