I’m a Legacy - a secret I’d planned on taking to my grave. Gareth, the enigmatic leader of the Supernatural Guild, knows it, but can I trust him to keep it? When mysterious deaths occur as a result of magic that mimics my own, I no longer have to worry about Gareth exposing me - it will be one of my own that does. Another Legacy is causing the chaos, and I’m forced to hunt my own kind. It seems simple, but we’ve existed for as long as we have because we’re better hunters than prey.

I felt like connor and Olivia's interactions in the last half of the book were repetitive and boring a heck. I mean just how many times can she "decide he just can't be reasoned with" or "the effort to try to reason with him was wasted because he would never come around" or some variation of the same can you have in 10 chapters? lazy

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

If they changed the ending or at least created some drama around what should have been a couple great plot twists.

Any additional comments?

It was almost like they changed the original ending they had planned. I find it hard to believe this was the outcome Roth wrote the first books to lead up to. I agree with everyone else. This book fell apart. The characters we fell in love and hate with in the first two books loose their luster when submerged in a plot I can only describe as lazy. There was so much potential for drama with the characters and where they ended up but instead this book dwells on boring insignificant subplots and characters like Peter and almost skips over the fates of the characters and the moments when friends are lost. Just blah... I hope they change the ending if they do make a movie out of this one.

Generations of werewolves have been secretly residing in a secluded valley a stones throw from Grundy, Alaska. So when a snooping Outsider comes to Grundy to investigate rumors of lycanthropic shenanigans in the area, the valleys pack alpha, Maggie Graham, resolves to chase him away, even if doing so takes a quick bite on the butt. What a pity that researcher Nick Thatcher turns out to be so drool-worthy, and that his kisses make Maggie want to sit up and beg.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Funny - easy read - likable characters and some good one liners that make me laugh out loud. Nothing super special but an enjoyable read.

If you’ve listened to books by Molly Harper before, how does this one compare?

Yes - as good.

Have you listened to any of Amanda Ronconi’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

yes - they are similar

Could you see The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

This has already been done with True Blood and I don't thing the story and characters in this one compare with True Blood.

"I'd rather face a dozen lethal assassins any night than deal with something as tricky, convoluted, and fragile as my feelings. But here I am. Gin Blanco, the semi-retired assassin known as the Spider. Hovering outside sexy businessman Owen Grayson's front door like a nervous teenage girl. One thing I like about Owen: he doesn't shy away from my past - or my present. And right now I have a bulls-eye on my forehead."

Good book for sitting on the deck with a mojito and getting into your imagination. I enjoy the supernatural aspect of this book and the girl power though the main character sometimes gets on my nerves with her martyring.

If you can count on one thing from "Madea" Mabel Simmons, star of Diary of a Mad Black Woman and Madea's Family Reunion, it's that she's got something to say. She's the beloved, hilarious, sharp-witted, pistol-packing grandmother who's watching out and speaking her mind. Now Madea is telling her own story, dishing her memoirs and hard-won, hilarious wisdom in her own inimitable voice (with a little help from her friend Tyler Perry).

What did you like best about By a Thread? What did you like least?

I like the main character Gin Blanco and the fantasy element of the series. Of the 6 books this was one of the better ones.

Would you recommend By a Thread to your friends? Why or why not?

Yes for a nice beach read or lazy weekend.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

I thought the narrator did well overall. Was not distracting like some narrators, You don't hear her swallowing and mouth smacking noises alot of narrators are plagued with.

Do you think By a Thread needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Yes there will be because there's a cliff hanger.
