Another great addition to this ongoing space opera!
I have all seven books, each time a new chapter comes out, I load them all into my player and start at the beginning, absolutely riveting. They have everything I look for in a science fiction novel. Compelling drama, humor, interesting characters that are well developed and not shallow. Veronica is not just a narrator, she is the ultimate story teller, I wish I could have her show up at camping trips just to tell stories around the campfire.

Would you listen to Joe Ledger again? Why?

I have all the Ledger books and now I am going to go buy books from these other authors featured in this collection. Absolutely riveting, attention grabbing and an emotional roller coaster. I don't give away plots in my reviews but I will say that the story from the dog's point of view really got me.

What does Ray Porter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Ray is Joe Ledger, even reading one of the books, I hear his voice in my head.

Where does Cast Under an Alien Sun rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I love far reaching, long novels with well developed characters, story lines and intriguing dialog. How much do I love them and this book? So much that I went and bought the Kindle editions and audio editions of the next 2 books before I was half finished with this one.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Cast Under an Alien Sun?

I don't do spoilers in my reviews by giving away plots and I am not one of those anally retentive critics who takes pot shots at every little nuance, I purchase books to be entertained and this book is very entertaining.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I wish I could but it's better broken out over several long nights of work
