A young woman's body is found on a side street in Indianapolis, horrifyingly arranged. Meanwhile Frank Behr, who is down on his luck and virtually broke, takes on a no-win case to locate a single mother's wayward daughter who's been missing for months. Suddenly Behr feels the two cases may be connected, but he is years removed from his life as a legitimate police officer and has few friends left on the force. His relentless focus has always been his greatest strength...and his deepest flaw.

The base story premise is interesting. However there is a lot of characters that carry through almost all four books. I didn’t really find any of them compelling. The action portions were a few islands in and ocean of dialogue. The unknown enemy is never explain it there motives defined. Just my opinion. More words doesn’t fill in for story line and a good bad aliens.

New York Times best-selling author Larry Bond’s Dangerous Ground, starring Navy lieutenant commander Jerry Mitchell, was hailed as a “hugely entertaining adventure” by Library Journal. In Exit Plan, Mitchell’s crew is ordered to the Iranian coast for a mission to retrieve intelligence on Iran’s nuclear weapons. But while en route, their mini-sub catches fire, forcing Mitchell and four SEALs to swim to shore - and into enemy territory.

What more can you ask for in a tail.

However the story line doesn't hold up if you start thinking about. So I don't! I know I'm a light weight. The book, and I think this is my fourth one, it is entertaining and I don't have to think too hard just roll with the story. This time it works for me.

You get hook on the first book and familiar with the characters and you start understanding how they work together. That's the fun part but it's also part that leads you to know how the plot is going to be resolved. These stories are prefect for driving down the road talking on the phone and going back and forth to the story.
