I love the Ali Reynolds series and wait, not so patiently, for each new book! The characters are unique and the story line varied. I like that the characters stand on their own and all contribute to the solving of the case!! I do miss Sister Anselm though. She is quite a charter in her on right!

It is nice to have a good story line, a great cast of characters, and a case without all the graphic scenes and sex that so many authors think they have to have to sell books. Janie is good st this in all 3 series I read, including The Joanna Brady books and the Alex Delaware books. Now to see what Alex and Milo are up to in their latest release!!! Back to back Janice!! A real treat!!

I purchased this book because it was on sale and I have not read anything by Lisa's the line. I am sorry that I bought the book and have requested my $33.95 back! This is technically not a book with a storyline it is a collection of rambling unconnected blog post written by a mother and a daughter and it's impossible to tell who was talking at any point in time.

One post was about the infestation of fleas and the growth of the fleas from larva to Philly and how gross it was and it was pretty gross in her description! Another post was about the movie stars posting naked pictures on the website of them selves and getting mad because other people were posting naked pictures of them too! It is just a jumble of a bunch of things that happened to a couple if women and the topics are not any thing like a storyline. I was very disappointed!!! I thought I had found a new author with new series go listen to.

I enjoyed the first book in the series "The Wanderer", so I purchased the 2nd book. I must be old fashioned, but a book with the main characters being parents of teenagers conceived at age 16 outside of marriage, is not necessarily my idea of a good book. But I could deal with that until their 16 year old girls are having sex and pregnancy scares in high school. Everyone is having sex without being married. The story line is ok, but, As I said I am old fashioned so I will be requesting my credit back.

I have been a Debbie Macomber fan for a long time. I really enjoyed the Cedar Cove and Rise Harbor series. But I'm sorry to say that this will be he second book I am requesting a refund if my credit for. I did finish the book, but was very disappointed I the constant fighting and making up and then more fighting between mist of the characters. I won't be seeing what happens to some if the characters because I will not be finishing the series. I will maybe read a new series from Macomber, but not this Dakota series. I read for enjoyment and this one just didn't do that for me.

First read....good storyline. It was a fun read but drug a bit in places. Not sure about a heroin who ignored the facts that it is listed that dogs are not allowed in places, but she takes her large dog in anyway, including restaurants and she parks where ever she pleases, regardless of posted restrictions.

I found it hard to keep my attention on the Book. It didn't have a story line that grabbed me and because it was about a woman and her mother in law living across from each other, I found it hard to remember who was who because the characters were related. This sounds confused, but that is how I found the book to be...confusing.

This book at several sections of five and more minutes of graphic sexual encounters which kept me from listening to the entire book. They were also storylines with a 14-year-old having sex a 15-year-old having sex and having a pregnancy scare and a couple of illegitimate babies along the way. This information was not in the description or I would not have purchased the book. Just not my kind of thing! Will not buy any more books by this author

I enjoyed the first book a lot. A nice listen in the car on trips. The second one was good. This one seems to be much the same. The heroine is portrayed as a bit dull and flighty. The other characters don't like her. The boyfriend wants to wrap her in gauze and keep her safe at home. The story line is a bit predictable from the first two books: Same general story, Different names. I'll read the next one but no more if they stay predictable.
