If someone were to ask Jasmine Santos to describe the last few years of her life with a single word, it would definitely be a four-letter one. After 17 years - and countless broken bones and broken promises - she knows her window to compete in figure skating is coming to a close. But when the offer of a lifetime comes in from an arrogant idiot she's spent the last decade dreaming about pushing in the way of a moving bus, Jasmine might have to reconsider everything.

Jasmine acted like she was 19 not 26. She was mean, vindictive, and insecure. The story did not seem like a romance. It seemed like an enemies to friends book. The romance seemed rushed at the end. The author spent too much time letting Jasmine complain. I would have liked to have gotten Ivan's POV too because Jasmine was annoying.

What a disaster! I only just made my flight to New York to help my uncle, and the phone I'm holding is not mine! It seems to belong to some commitment-phobic serial dater who's never made it past four dates (according to the constant notifications he's getting from his fake dating profile).... And worse? I have a sinking feeling it's that hot suit-monkey with the arctic grey eyes I just had a run-in with at the airport. Somehow, I have to persuade him not to get a new phone until I get back. My whole life is on that phone. I knew I should have backed it up. It's only a few days. Surely, we can handle it.

This book started on an interesting premise. The phone mix up, but it lost steam fast. The characters spend most of the book onto the phone. The H seemed okay, but the h became annoying after awhile. It took all for me to finish this book. It ended pretty bad. It felt like the writer got lost somewhere.

I'm Evan Cook - billionaire tech entrepreneur and widower. Professionally, I've got it all. But since my wife died, my personal life has fallen apart. Remarrying seems like the obvious answer, so I place an ad. I'm not asking for much. The ideal woman only needs to be smart, organized, pretty, and helpful - both in and out of bed - without expecting romance. I never thought to look right in front of me, but it turns out that Nia Wright, my sexy, sassy assistant, just might be the perfect candidate.

It was just a typical Monday. Until the big boss asked me to make the pitch for a prospective new client. After two years on shaky ground at work because of my screw up, an opportunity to impress the senior partners was just what I needed. Or so I thought, until I walked into the conference room and collided with the man I was supposed to pitch to. My coffee spilled, my files tumbled to the ground, and I almost lost my balance. And that was the good part of my day. Because the gorgeous man who crouched down and looked at me like he wanted to eat me alive was none other than my ex.

Don't preach to Alexis Montgomery about settling down. She's got her act together - a fabulous new job, great friends, and plenty of dating prospects. She's happily taking New York City by storm, so why would she ruin things by committing to just one man? If anyone could influence Alexis, it might be Graham Stone. He's gorgeous and brilliant, enough to make any red-blooded woman question her single status. Unfortunately, he's also her boss.

I was not sure if he was British, Jamaica, or American for the main male character. I hated his female voice. He made black women seem so stereotyped. His voice ruined the story for me.

I did not finish this book. I found the two main characters interesting in Legal Heat. Lana was fun and exciting. James was take charge and moody. It was a fun combination. However, the author made Lana whiney and insecure in this book. The author made James inconsistent in this book. Both characters were not interesting in this book. I hated the biker stuff. She could have left that out.
