The story line started on a high note. The middle of the story, I thought I was listening to a different story and things seemed to be rushed to tie up loose ends to end the story. It's an ok story. Narration performance was spot on. I will be looking for more books read by her.

A must read

I love this story. The mystery, the character development and the story line kept me intriguired the entire story. I like how the story goes back and forth telling just enough of each part of the story that you don't get caught up into it and get lost. The story ties up beautifully. I would highly recommend this story. The narrator does a wonderful performance of changing her voice and tone for the numerous characters.

I had to restart this book 3 times. It has a heavy subject but following the story line and the changing back and forth left me a bit confused. I found myself having to rewind to fully understand what was happening. It's ok but I wouldn't recommend.

Weird and twisted. A jaw dropper.

An outstanding work of art. Left me speechless then it all came together. I thought I knew who did what and what was going to happen next but I was wrong every time.

I won't give away the story but it was well written. The ending could possibly lead to another story but even if it didn't the ended tied up all lose ends. Story line is great, the attention to detail makes to feel a part of the scene. I really enjoyed the narrator's voice. I could listen to anything read him. Give it a listen. I'm only sad that the story ended.

Really enjoyed it. The story has many layers like an onion. Great narration. I like the change in the voice for each character. I listened to this book twice and still found many parts that I missed the first time around. There is a listeners note at the end of the story that gives you a great deal of information about the research done to get the facts straight which I appreciated. highly recommended

The narrator has the perfect voice and pitch for the story. The author did a great job of developing the characters & the relationships between them. Action and cliffhanger are spot on. I didn't like in the middle when the story took a turn to being a typical story line but I got past that part. The ending will leave your mind blown. Sequel perhaps?

What did you love best about The Hunger Games?

It is a well written story. I would have liked to have more details some parts left me wondering.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the plot of the story. It took some time for it to unfold but once it did the story went along smoothly as expected.

What about Carolyn McCormick’s performance did you like?

I liked the occasioan voice change. Would like to have heard the reader get more into the story and not sound as if she was just reading the story.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

With the book being so long it was good to take breaks and the download time would have been even longer.
