This is the continuation of Andie and Cade's story. The first part left you with a cliffhanger and an "Oh, my!". In this second part Andie and Cade struggle to get back to where they were in the first and then the author hits you with another twist that is guaranteed to keep you going back for the rest of the story! Part 3 here I come!
The narration by Chris Abell is very good.

I listened to the audio version of this book and had an absolutely great time with it! Tamara and Wyatt were great characters. Wyatt had an arch nemesis in this book in the form of a quarterback on his football team. Tamara had a friends only relationship with the same guy, but that didn't stop the guy from messing with her mind and her belief in Wyatt. Ms. Armstrong really gave Wyatt and Tamara a great relationship. The growth of the relationship was at a good speed and it was really pretty sweet, but had some hot attraction thrown in. The story really kept me listening and wanting to listen more ("Come on, doggies, let's go for another walk!"). This may have been my favorite out of this series so far!

So glad I used my Audible credit on this book! I've never been disappointed by a Lori Foster book, but I liked the lighter mood set by the cover and the dog on it. In true Foster fashion, there was lots of mystery, romance, sexy times, danger and family thrown together to create a story I'm sure I will listen to again (and I don't usually do that!).
Phoenix and Cooper were just meant for each other. Each had something painful in their past and being together helped assuage the ache and help them get past the traumas together. Ridley Rose, who was Phoenix's sister (and who had a killer name by the way), was a bit of a surprise. She was a rather complicated character who scored the second romance in the book. I loved both of them! I loved Cooper most of all--protective guys certainly do it for me.
The narration by Erin Bennett was outstanding!
Definitely 5 stars and well worth reading!

This was a reversal of a mail-order bride story. It was short, sweet and very enjoyable to listen to. The characters were well developed, likable and believable. The combination of a good western romance and a wonderful narration kept me finding reasons to listen longer. Goss and Holly are a great combination and they turned out a wonderful audio book!

When her dog meets and mates with Cade's dog, Andie's first concern is to get her dog to a vet. She gets waylaid by Cade and his hunky good looks and has no idea just how out of her league Cade is. Despite his secrets, Cade feels differently about Andie and thinks he might be falling in love. Unfortunately, his past catches up with him, and he is forced to make a difficult decision. Can a professional athlete and a research librarian truly prove the axiom that opposites not just attract, but were meant for each other?

This was a fairly short audio book that is sweet, but also pretty sexy hot! The hero and heroine meet in the stacks of the library where Andie works. He walks in on her having a little private time when she thinks she's all alone. Oh, my! Cade is more than a little intrigued by the red head.
Even though this is short, Ayala gives you plenty of background on the two to make you feel a connection to them and to get you invested in their story. The story has lots of heart and sweet times, but there are hot times too! It appears that the story continues in the next book and I can't wait to get to it.
The narration by Chris Abell is very good!

As I listened to this audiobook, I came to realize that there was very little conflict in it, even though it seems like the conflict should have been substantial. Duke is wanting to develop the island that Gabriella's family owns and lives on. She really doesn't want that to happen. Seems big, right? Not really, because Duke rolls over right away and tells her he won't do anything (in bed and as far as the island is concerned), that she doesn't want to do. Conflict pretty much over.
This is the usual Melissa Foster book. All about attraction and then heading for the proposal. Her books are sweet, which B.J. Harrison's voice adds to, but they are also super hot. If not for the sex scenes, I would say her books are sweet, innocent romances...but then there IS the really hot sex. It's kind of a quandry. She also throws lots of family into her books, whether blood related or people who are just always there for each other.
I have listened to many of her books and really enjoy them, especially when I'm not in the mood for anything heavy or complicated. It's a good light, but let the hormones flow read!

This is not something that I would usually listen to, but it sounded interesting and I decided to give it a try. Boy, am I glad I did. I do like true crime stories, but I don't usually read them. This was interesting because of the story of the murder spree, but also because the writer and narrator of the book is the grandson of the lawyer that defended the girl/woman in the case. Besides just the court and police notes being read, the book also included emotions and events that were occurring within his family at the time of the trial. He also included the impact the trial had on others.
Although Jeff McArthur obviously isn't your usual narrator for an audiobook, I do think, however, that his personal connection to the story was a plus. There were several editing errors in the audio, but had little impact on the story. Overall, a captivating experience!
I was given this audio book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts on it are my own.

I listened to the audio version of this book and really liked it. There is more depth and more intense topics than it seems most people were expecting, going by what this author apparently usually writes. I had no preconceptions and maybe that's why it's a 5 star book for me. It is definitely more Chick Lit (or Women's Literature, if you prefer) than straight up romance. The characters have issues. Deep, dark issues with very serious topics involved.
Having said that, I loved the relationship between the hero and the heroine. There's not a whole lot of trust towards other people for either of them, but there is a definite something between them that allows them to tell each other things from their past that they don't usually discuss. It could be the push towards forgiveness that they both need.
The development of the relationship between Kaylie and Ten (Tennessee) may have been fairly slow, but we're dealing with two fairly messed up people here. It's only right that they are cautious.
Kaylie is finally at a good place in her life and is surrounded by people that care about her. Then everything seems to go to hel_ in a hand basket. Will it be too much for her or can her new happiness be saved?
I really enjoyed the narration by Natalie Ross as well as the story by Kent. I'll be looking for more by both. I was given this audiobook and the comments are honest and my own.

This audiobook takes you back to the Old West, when men carried guns and didn't hesitate to protect their women and property with them. It starts with Suzanne running away from an impending arranged marriage to an older evil man. She's already run once on her own, but this time she won't be alone. She was just hired by an attractive cattleman, Cyrus, to tutor his son and help around the house. When Cyrus decides on a more permanent solution to her problem, will Suzanne go along with his proposal? Will it be enough to keep her safe?
I really enjoyed this book. The story flows well and keeps you listening while the narration by Evelyn Grace is very pleasant, easy to listen to and very well done.
