Despite constant efforts to declutter your home, do papers still accumulate like snowdrifts and clothes pile up like a tangled mess of noodles?Japanese cleaning consultant Marie Kondo takes tidying to a whole new level, promising that if you properly simplify and organize your home once, you'll never have to do it again. Most methods advocate a room-by-room or little-by-little approach, which doom you to pick away at your piles of stuff forever.

I found Konmari via YouTube and bought the book via audiobook. I've been searching for something to make sense of the clutter. And this does. There are parts that seem really kooky at first, like greeting and thanking your possessions. But after really reflecting on it, it makes sense in it being the change in our mindset. Think about it...if you cherish something, it'll have a special spot and you'll take special care of it. If you have so much crap that you can't find anything, how can you know what is special? It also allows us to be ok discarding something that has use, but no meaning or value to us. If we tell it "thanks" and end on a positive note, it keeps our minds positive. So while I'm not completely through the method, I can tell you that my closet and dresser are much neater and I can find everything easier and putting away my laundry doesn't cause me as much dread as it did before using the Konmari method on it.

Putting a woman on her knees before me is what really makes my cock hard. I f**k with dominant force and absolute control. I demand complete surrender from my conquests. Savage man, loner, warrior... I am dangerous at my core. I have lived amidst the untamed wild of the rainforest, in a society that reveres me and where every woman falls before me in subjugation. Now I've been discovered. Forced to return to a world that I have forgotten about and to a culture that is only vaguely familiar to my senses.

Would you listen to Uncivilized again? Why?

I don't know, maybe. For the moment, I'm content with this one time, but I just finished listening to it.

What other book might you compare Uncivilized to and why?

I wouldn't

What about Kirsten Leigh and Lee Samuels ’s performance did you like?

I like the uncertainty that Lee Samuels gives to Zach's character. In those moments where he's unsure of how he should feel about things. I just love the way that Kirsten Leigh portrays her characters.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Can you truly tame the wild out of the man?

There are a few unbreakable rules in the game. Stay collected. Compartmentalize. Think your next move through. Never let your heart dictate your tactics. The heart is impulsive. Would you listen to Separation Games again? Why?

Yeah, I probably would. It's a good emotional story.

What did you like best about this story?

the emotional element

What about Elena Wolfe and Sebastian York ’s performance did you like?

I loved their performance, I think they did a superb job at bringing out the emotions that the characters were going through. I wished that SebYo did the male narration in this story like he did in the last one instead of only his scenes. And vice versa for Elena Wolfe.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I almost did. It was only interrupted by sleep.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Marriage Games?

When Adam made sure she was ok at the club.

Have you listened to any of Elena Wolfe and Sebastian York ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes to SebYo, no to Elena Wolfe's. His other performance wasn't this intense. I think I prefer him with comedic timing.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Neither. But I did have an extreme reaction. I don't like Diana as a character. She's flawlessly written, but I found her weak and judgmental and I dislike that inherently about her, and she is cruel. She didn't care that her thoughtlessness hurt her husband, he loved her.

Where does Preppy: The Life and Death of Samuel Clearwater, Part 2 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It's up there in my top picks. I FLOVE Preppy and Lance Greenfield does an amazing job at bringing him to life. Dre wouldn't be Dre without Kirsten Leigh.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Preppy...always. Because of his dichotomous nature. Plus he's so outrageous and funny.

Have you listened to any of Lance Greenfield and Kirsten Leigh ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Preppy Part 1. It's just as amazebawls.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

OH gosh...without giving anything away...most of Preppy's parts. He's dealing with a lot in this book and his adjustment is far from easy.

Any additional comments?

BUY the audiobook. GAH! Just do. *sigh*

A new standalone novel from #1 New York Times bestselling author, Vi Keeland. The night I met Drew Jagger, he'd just broken into my new Park Avenue office. I dialed 9-1-1 before proceeding to attack him with my fancy new Krav Maga skills. He quickly restrained me, then chuckled, finding my attempted assault amusing. Of course, my intruder had to be arrogant. Only, turned out, he wasn't an intruder at all. Drew was the rightful occupant of my new office. He'd been on vacation while his posh space was renovated.

Would you listen to Beyond the Sun again? Why?

Honestly, probably not, but that's not a knock against the author or the narrator. Very few books get a re-read/listen from me. My TBR list is so long that I have gobs of new material to manage first.

If you’ve listened to books by Sandra Bischoff before, how does this one compare?

This is the first, so I can't say. This is the first book of her's period. I've not read books 2 or 3.

Have you listened to any of Michelle Sparks’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is the first of her narrations that I've listened to, so I can't compare it to anything else.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Figuring out Sam's place in it all.
