Alexander Weiss inadvertently insults Athena, goddess of wisdom, and she casts him away on a forgotten isle filled with statues. Being marooned is bad enough, but the fact that the island is also the home of Euryale, elder sister to Medusa, makes the situation a touch worse. The only thing keeping Alex from being petrified is the fact that Euryale has taken a liking to the blundering mortal. For now.

Or so it should have been called. The parts where he's having fun with uriale is great but, most of this book is the gods making him miserable. I found it depressing after a while but, the ending won't leave you frustrated. Overall I thought this book was good enough that I didn't want to put it down and, would recommend you read it.

In addition to finding a way to become more powerful, he also found the friends and family he’d always longed for. Unfortunately, he also discovered the pain of losing them. Now, Armon finally has the information he’s been searching for. He knows where the kidnapped kobolds that the Imperare took are. A city deep in the heart of the Imperare Empire and a place renowned for its gladiatorial arenas.

I never believed in superheroes. I certainly didn't believe I'd become one, or that strategically forming a harem of hot chicas and getting down with them to unlock my superpowers would be the key to my survival. Did I say my survival? I meant the universe's. No, really.... That's exactly what happened when I was taken to a galaxy of supers, thrown into a prison ship full of villains, and told it was up to me to stop them all.

It's all about the sex. I mean I like the whole haremy thing similar books got going on. It makes it fun to pick a favorite but, I felt like half this book was either talking about doing it, doing it, or talking about genitalia. Some interesting things go on but, I'm glad I've finished this and I can move on.

Ryker only has one goal in his life right now: Turn a certain adventuring guild into a flaming wreck while dancing merrily through the smoldering ruins. All for the chance to get back at a handful of people. It isn’t as if they didn’t deserve it either. They had driven him from his home. Chased him physically from the very guild house itself.  Simply because he wasn’t as strong as they expected him to be. As strong as he’d expected himself to be. He’d returned the next day and left with something he’d hidden away and told no one about when he found it in one of his few Dungeon Dives.

This is one of those books that will keep you up at night because you don't want to put it down. Lucia's rags to to riches story is filled with silly motivations, a strong denial, and a slow degradation of her character. Also the predators the scariest creatures in this world are hilarious. the reveal reminded me of the rabbit in monte python's holy grail. Even though its neither a small nor a rabbit. Definitely buy this book. there are fewer better books than this one than I have fingers on my left hand.

Out of the smoldering ruins of the war in heaven, the Archangels Raphael and Michael cannot believe the agreement made between God and his Morning Star, Lucifer. Unwilling to either destroy the fallen angel or leave him with a free hand upon the world, God sets in motion a struggle that will span the millennia from creation to present day. Two Sentinels are invested with the ability to bend the laws of creation to their will and each represents the primal forces of Order and Chaos.

For those who reside in the outer regions of Aleria, the day of bestowal is what determines their destiny. It is the holy day of the Goddess. The day that allows those of age to step forward and receive their blessing, to embark on the path that she has chosen for them. To receive their Classification, which dictates their strength and ability. For those people, the holy day of bestowal represents fate itself. For Dante, it represents salvation.

All the back story stuff abouut why hes in this game took a back seat as soon as he started playing. which was great. not that it was bad but, i really enjoyed how he interacted with this rpg game like it was a real world. He ends up attracting a bunch of girls really easy which was fine with me. Its a power fantasy and any one who likes them will enjoy this book.
