Our hero and heroine work for the IRS and take a field trip to investigate a case of unpaid taxes. When they run into live dinosaurs, things get a bit complicated.

This may be hard to believe, but taxmen can be funny, although usually as the butt of a joke. At the basic level, this is a science fiction story involving time travel and all the fun paradoxes that go along with it. And that could be enough for a really fun story, but here we also get a lot of wonderful dry humor to go along with it. Our hero is such a single minded, straight-laced individual that he makes the perfect source for many a funny moment.

The story is very well written and, while it doesn't go into hard science, it does try to keep things as realistic as possible, which can be quite a feat with time travel. The characters are also really well written, including the supporting cast, which helps make the entire story come to life. As this is an audio book, I can't really call it a page turner, but I was very much looking forward to each opportunity to listen.

Speaking of audio books, the narration was also very well done. The pacing was good, pronunciation clear, and the characters were well represented. Overall, a clear pleasure to listen to.

Success beyond my wildest dreams? Too bad I wasn't able to fully enjoy it. No time to sit back and watch the fame roll in when you're being hunted by superpowereds and a private military force. Still, everything was going according to plan. Grace, Veronique, and I were headed south. Our target? The secret government facilities scattered across the country. The second installment of Mutants in the Making was nearing completion, ready to be published any day now. Things were tense, but all was well. I wish they would have stayed that way....

This is book two in the series and it stands pretty well on its own. You would be missing some of the background, but can pick up the essentials pretty quickly, so feel free to jump in at any time.

Our hero and heroines are still looking for answers and trying to thwart the evil group conducting human experiments. Along the way, they meet new enemies and get a new recruit.

The story has a lot of super-powered action as well as some steamy scenes, both of which are very entertaining and fit well with the story. This is a LitRPG story, so you also get some game stats, but not so many as to detract from the story. The story has some good twists and turns to keep you guessing, but is engaging enough to keep you riveted to the story. You also get a full cast of actors and actresses to narrate the story, which helps bring the entire thing to life. Very entertaining and highly recommended.

She heads deep into the English countryside, intent on making a success of the once popular inn. However, discovering the murder throws her a curve ball. Especially when she suspects dark magick. Additionally, a less than warm welcome from several locals persuades her that a variety of folk - of both the mortal and magickal persuasions - have it in for her.

I have read some of the Wonky Witch series, but this is the first audio book in the series which I have heard. I am pleased to say that I was not disappointed.

The story involves our heroine inheriting an inn which needs a bit of TLC, and not everyone wants her to succeed.

The story is very well written, easy to follow and boasts a fascinating cast of characters, from our heroine right down to the least supporting character. You get a mix of intrigue, magic and humor which makes for a delightful read, or in this case, listen. The narration was also spot on with a wonderful English voice to match the setting. Highly entertaining and well worth your time.

Highly recommended.

Our heroine is picked up after school and taken to a complex run by rich men who enjoy special pleasures, including old school punishments.

If you have read (or listened to) any books by the author, then you get the general concept. This book takes place in the modern world and features an entire apartment complex of kept women. While the girls are required to accept old fashioned punishments, the overall program is mutually beneficial. How? You will have to listen to find out.

The story is an erotic tale featuring D/S, spanking and other punishments, as well as plenty of steamy scenes. As would be expected from the author, the story is very well written with an interesting story line and well developed characters. Oh, and I think I already mentioned plenty of steam.

The narration and presentation of this audio book are well done and fit the story well.

Overall, an highly enjoyable experience.

This is a collection of 6 short stories with a BDSM theme.

We get six different stories, each with different characters and situations, providing plenty of variety. They were each well written, with easy to follow yet very enjoyable plots. Each offers plenty of steam as well. I particularly enjoyed "Submission in the Kitchen," but maybe that was because it was the last one I heard. All of the stories were fun to listen to.

As for the performance, the narrator has a clean, easy to follow voice making for easy listening. My one criticism is that she doesn't do a good job of pausing between sentences (or books). As a result, the sentences tend to run together and everything seems a little rushed.

Regardless of that small flaw, I highly recommend this audio presentation.

Sala has encountered plenty of exotic men while working at the Guesthouse, a luxurious brothel catering to the unique needs of rich and powerful individuals whose travels bring them to the planet Magisteria, but she has never met anyone like Alpha before. The huge blue alien is stunningly handsome, but he is no ordinary customer. He is a sentient machine with the body of a man, a representative of a vast shared consciousness with an interest in discovering the nature of dominant human sexuality, and Sala is the submissive girl he plans to make his own.

Humans are being evaluated for inclusion in galactic civilization, so the aliens create artificial bodies to explore "sex combined with power."

If you have read anything by the author, then you will get the general concept. You are going to see lots of dominate males, submissive females, sex and punishment. This one has a pure SF setting and involved well-endowed blue artificial life forms. I love when one of the girls asks why they are blue. The answer: The aliens searched all our literature and that seemed to be the most common color for aliens.

The audio performance on this one was exceptional. The performing had a nice, clear voice and read at a steady pace which was very easy to follow. I also liked how the aliens' lack of familiarity with speaking came through very clearing in the presentation.

Overall, this was a fun and sexy presentation, just as I would expect from the author.

Our hero is arrogant, self-confessed. But as he points out, it is necessary for him to do his job as front man for the latest technology company. Our heroine is attracted to him, but doesn't want to be another notch in his bedpost. Can they make the two views work together?

This is a romance story, so of course they will figure it out, but the story is about the journey. Our hero has to woo the girl and come to realize a steady relationship is not a bad thing. And our heroine has to overcome her own feelings to inadequacy and accept herself for who she is. The result is a very nice HEA.

This story is novella length, so a very reasonable commitment of time. The narration is good, and I love Ms Folsom's voice as Gigi, our heroine. My only criticism is in regards to the pacing. Particularly at the beginning, it was a bit rushed with one sentence blending into the next without pause, but it got better as it went along and it was all very enjoyable.

Highly recommended.

There is another world living besides ours and most of us remain happily unaware.

Ivy Granger is a psychic detective helping people deal with the unnatural. As seems to be the norm for detectives, particularly those dealing with the supernatural, she is a bit of an outcast and has constant money problems. But she is good at what she does and she wants to help people.

This is a short story, so there is a lot more to this world than you get to see/hear at this time, but the glimpse you get is fun, creepy and definitely tantalizing. I definitely would like to explore further.

The presentation in this audio version was quite good, clear and easy to understand, and the voice seemed to fit the character quite nicely.

"No" is her favorite word because she has found that all the best, most exciting, most pleasurable things seem to be the forbidden ones...

I loved the main character, Cynthia. She is smart, feisty, outspoken and incredibly curious about life, particularly those forbidden things between man and woman. She was definitely my favorite character as she pushed limits and explored life.

The rest of the ensemble were very interesting and engaging as well, making for a well rounded cast. This is the third book in the series and while the narrative was focused on Cynthia and Hugh, the couples from the previous books all were present and even got entire chapters devoted to them, providing a variety of perspectives on the goings on.

I should note that I have not read/listened to the previous books, but had no problems keeping up with the plot. While the other books will give a more in depth exploration of the other relationships, the books do not need to be read in order.

The performance was fantastic, the voice of the narrator providing the perfect purr to bring Cynthia and the other characters to life. Her accent was absolutely delightful.

The story includes multiple sex scenes which are both detailed and steamy, as well as multiple scenes of spankings and discipline. If that is your thing, then this book is highly recommended.
