2 main characters are depressing people, the performer portrays them with a down trodden voice, Together this novel continues the depression of the two characters as deadbeats and losers. sadly this is the best description I can give. I will say that the author has writing talent,. but must be depressed or find the lives of depressed people interesting. sadly I do not.

The author, became to wordy in his writing, overexplaining skills, and adding to many skills and benefits, as if rushing the characters along. This made the novel boring and irritating to listen to, Needs to pay attention to Plot and characters

The author has trouble with understanding the flow of his story, The plot is there but the flow is lacking. The characters struggle to gain experience and stats, but the stats go unexplained, and everyone in the party is able to use an ability that no one has ever even been able to develop. Inconsistent story development, in the end I do not look forward to the next chapter, but listen to the next chapter only because I bought the audio book. To childlike in the approach, and I thought the narration was good but did not fit. you could easily see the author was writing for writing sake, with no understanding of proper development of character. The party characters do not come together by complementing each other, but they all seem to be the main character. it seems the author has many main characters and the focus or flow of the book is just OFF, is the best way to explain it.

The subject line sums it all up, the author understands that Level progress is slow and uses skill building to compensate. Good Job

Novel was written in a childlike manner, The Relation ship of the fallen God to his minions, was poorly built upon in that same manner. Although the author writes well, the plots are to simple, the characters plot along, with no real threats, no real suspense, and no real issue's of any consequence. The childlike writing has finally made me reach my limit, I cannot purchase in good will the next book in the series. as the characters would say OH PU! The performance was poor due to the writing.

LITRPG is about Players struggling to improve themselves, in the authors mind they gain 10-20-30 levels for 1 battle, they get 300-500 hit points with just a few levels, there stats are in the 10s of thousands and creatures have several hundreds of thousands of hitpoints if not 2-3 million hitpoints, There is no struggling in this book, and it gets confusing what skill points are being allocated and what skills provide for the Player. When the author goes thru the main charactors stats you cannot fallow along because the stats are so high, you cannot grasp if there better or worse, you never get a feel for the progression of the character. Die and lose 15-20 levels, no problem 1-2 battles will yield 30-50 new levels,
The author does not know what LITRPG is, and is not familiar with how to write LITRPG, he believes that by using a Large scale, it is better but all it is...., is more confusing for the listener, harder to follow,
He jumps from scene to scene and loses his focus quite often the listener has to pay attention or he completely gets lost and does not know what the character is doing and why he is doing it, or even how the character got where he is.
but the narrator is superb

You go from one pointless scene to another, It seems that the book has no point at all 5 hours into the book, you feel as if your being hit by small talk, continuous, pointless, non-sensical small talk. The author writes and writes but 5 hours into the book the book has not even begun. Wasting our time. ERPL...
